Nice list and I guess it's okay for politics but if you want to know the real power in KCMO right now. It's the rain that's flooding this entire city. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteBetter post title: A river runs through Waldo right now.
ReplyDeleteThey all look like losers to me.
ReplyDelete^^^^ Speak for yourself. LOSER!
DeleteJust a quick correction to this know it all post.
ReplyDelete1. Parson is out of line. Abortion ban will be overturned in court.
2. Jolie Justus will lose by no less than 20,000 votes.
3. Clay Chastain will get 500 votes. Or Less. It doesn't really matter.
4. Daron McGee will be the future elected leader of the hickman mills school district and then make news 5 years from now when he takes over in Lee's Summit 5 years from now.
5. This isn't the end of the community center tax in Johnson County. Expect another tax tied to public safety that won't get the same kind of opposition. Detractors just shot their wad.
6. Save the Paseo did great work but they don't have the money for a lawyer and this thing is going to court.
Check back with me in 2 weeks to find out that ALL this stuff is true and KC taxpayers are still screwed.
^^^ This bitch must be from the future!
Delete- Cilantro
Wrong! Roe v Wade will be overturned by the Supreme Court.
Delete^^^ now that’s funny right there!
ReplyDelete- Celery
KC could be a world class city if not for these people.
ReplyDeleteIt’s funny DaRon McGee got caught. He is a piece of shit.
ReplyDeleteAbortionists will go to Hell.
ReplyDelete^^There is no hell, dumb ass.
ReplyDelete10:28, We already HAVE public safety sales tax in Shawnee, the one building the Justice Center--and, since they passed it before the laws changed to require a 10 year sunset on all sales tax initiatives, this one will never expire.
ReplyDeleteIf you followed the Shawnee community center fiasco, and read the meticulously researched web site with only facts, not fluff, BetterWayShawnee.com, you would perhaps realize that the city's biggest need is $140 million for our collapsing pipes.
In the past month, three major arterials have been closed, all or in part, by stormwater pipes collapsing. We do have a Parks and Pipes tax that sunsets in 2025. But the pipes portion generates only $1.6 million a year. We are $140 million behind over the next 10 years, and need $11 to $14 million in the next 3 years. We are decades behind.
And yet, six hours AFTER the community center vote went down 72% to 28%, the spendaholic park and rec director, Neil Holman, pitched spending $480,000 to move a 1929 house from 135th and Metcalf to our 1929 museum. Even tho it is not authentic. And even tho a replica could be constructed for 17% of the cost.
9:55, you will see that there is a Hell when you arrive there.
