SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY WATER REJECTED BY BLUE SPRINGS & LEE'S SUMMIT!!!

Following today's horrific KCMO water FAIL news . . . There's a big propaganda push to label this "not an emergency" but it's clear nearby suburbs are taking this seriously and switching up supplies away from KCMO.

Today's example . . .

KCTV5: Blue Springs shuts down water line intake from Kansas City, Lee's Summit purchasing water from Independence

Deets:

"During this time of year, the City of Blue Springs uses around 4 million gallons per day and the 1 million gallons per day we take from KC can be easily offset by our other suppliers," the city said in a statement . . .

The state told KC Water its situation did not match the criteria to be an emergency, but did say they needed to notify customers. A boil water advisory has not been issued.

The City of Lee's Summit also said it has not purchased water from KC Water since March 21. They will purchase water from Independence until the issues are resolved.

  4. This is what happens when city government kicks the EPA's mandate down the road instead of resolving the EPA's concerns. Another epic failure and planned obsolescence of KCMO infrastructure by the mayor of the shiny new toy town. Next week the EPA will probably be camping at the water department.

Update regarding the water turbidity issue: We have not found any harmful bacterial organisms in the water. If you are concerned, use bottled or filtered water. The water is being tested at the plant and in the distribution system. It is safe for cooking, and bathing:
