Concealed carry on college campuses, bars up for debate in Missouri Senate

  7. Public universities are public property and the civil rights of all people there must be respected, be it free speech, worship, assembly or the carry of a firearm. How anyone who loves their civil rights can debate this.

  8. No. Let the people who work on college campuses, like myself, decide. Guns on campus limit free speech, because faculty and students are afraid to voice their opinions when there are weapons in the room. Additionally, disgruntled students in faculty offices limit the ability of faculty to do their jobs.
