TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! SMALL AIRLINES REJECT KANSAS CITY NEW AIRPORT TERM SHEET!!! COMMITTEE MEETING CANCELLED AHEAD OF $90-MILLION EMERGENCY SHORT-TERM LOAN TALK AT CITY HALL!!!
Today City Hall responds to our TKC BLOG COMMUNITY FIRST NEWS about more financial difficulty at the new airport.

We have received 5 eligible Signatory Airlines, who represent 76.9% of the gross landed weight, have executed the Term Sheet.
As you may recall, the minimum number of carriers needed are three (3) current Signatory Airlines who together comprise of at least 60% of landed weight.

SMALL AIRLINES HAVE REJECTED NEW KCI TERMS AND WON'T COMMIT TO THIS BAD DEAL THAT FAVORS BIGGER MORE EXPENSIVE AIRLINE BRANDS!!!

This deal isn't want Kansas City voters were promised. KCMO is putting forward big bucks to give a competitive advantage to bigger airlines and ultimately push out smaller competitors who many believe are the future of the industry and provide cheaper fares for local travelers.
