TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! COURTHOUSE WORKERS DENIED OVERDUE PAY RAISE THANKS TO JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE!!!

The outset of 2019 finds government workers throughout Kansas City in the midst of harsh economic times. In Jackson County, employees on the low end of the pay scale struggle to pay their bills and many of them qualify for public assistance.

Accordingly . . .

IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE BUDGET DEBATE, EXEC FRANK WHITE WORKED TO DENY JACKSON COUNTY EMPLOYEES A DESPERATELY NEEDED COST OF LIVING PAY INCREASE!!!

Here's the word . . .

"Just like the President, he's holding these people hostage because of his own political problems. Some of the workers at the County really needed that pay bump and they haven't had a raise for years. Considering the worsening economy, it was a shame to see Frank forget about the employees."

While few would categorize Exec White as a fiscal hawk, the cash crunch at the Courthouse which prevented any pay increases is for real. Now that the Exec is no long in control of the COMBAT Anti-Drug tax - Money is tight. The Exec has his own staff to pay and Caleb's nice truck continues to irk insiders. Even worse, the continued crisis at the jail will only get more expensive as time goes on . . . Combine all of these big money troubles with continued difficulty collecting property taxes and the motive for the controversial cheapskate move becomes clearer.

You decide . . .

    1. I think the salary for the exec is now 6 figures and the legislators are making nearly as much. Why should they look out for their support staff? Does Frank have some blame in this, yes of course. But there wasn't much support to send money further down the food chain.

  4. The government shows no concern for citizens when they continue tax increase after tax increase. Do you think private sector wages are increasing to be able pay for these government employees?

  5. ^^^^ +100

More property tax increases on the way to support frank's crap decisions. Glad he and the legislature are making more money but they are being really selfish with the taxpayer funds.

  6. I work for a company that can go out of business and then I'd be out on the street. A city gov't job can't go out of business. I have no sympathy for anyone working for KCMO or jackson county who is taking our tax money in this mess of a shit hole town. These mother fuckers should be paid less

When you look at the failures in many American cities, be it murder rates, mediocre education or poverty, there is one glaring common denominator ... they are overwhelmingly run by Democrats. There is a wide variety of studies available to research and while you might find a variation of results depending upon the year of the data, there is a consistency in failures linked to Democratic control. Jackson county and Kansas City are proof of that.

  9. People who are not making enough money to live on at the County should quit and find a better paying job elsewhere. Of course then they'd have to work for their money, which would be a downer, so maybe not.

  10. Of course he's not, he wants that money for himself. Typical democrat and unlike the idiot at @9:47 Trump has helped a lot of people while democrats are all about suppression.

  11. Bet Frank still had money for his cronies, Caleb Clifford and Angie Jeffries. What a shit show Jackass County is.

  12. White wouldn't be a "fiscal hawk", even if he knew what the word "fiscal" meant, which he doesn't.
Watching the endless fiascos, financial disasters, poor decisions, petty infighting, and outright incompetence in Jackson County and KCMO governments makes everyone who doesn't live in those jurisdictions more than happy about their decisions and certainly discourages both potential residents and businesses from locating there.
If most of these people worked in the private sector they'd be fired within a month.
    Sad.

  15. Some damn good comments here. Glad to see that at least some of the truth is getting out about Frank White, he is an incompetent legislator and his staff is leading him in the wrong direction.
