TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SURVEY SEYZ KANSAS CITY GOVERNMENT WORKERS FEAR PREZ TRUMP CUTBACKS AFTER SHUT DOWN RESOLUTION!!!

The shut down has reached a stalemate and tonight a historic address from the Prez will decide the fate of the border wall.

Sadly, the government shut down conversation has become so polarized that any "news" on the topic is simply fodder for partisan slap fighting.

And so, to keep our bloggy conversation ahead of the game and looking beyond the MSM garbage . . . We share this bit of polling goodness . . .

SURVEY SEYZ: KANSAS CITY GUV WORKERS THREATENED BY CUTBACKS NO MATTER WHO WINS THE BORDER WALL SHUT DOWN DRAMA!!!

Here's the word . . .

"The longer this thing goes on, the more inclined people are to MISTAKENLY believe that the size of government needs to be trimmed and employees should be cut. Even worse, I think it's obvious that most government workers don't support being furloughed and so a bit of payback is feared as well. With so many government workers in KC (50,000 +vendors) the impact of this shut down extends far beyond mere politics . . ."

A few quick facts from mayoral flash polling that offers a shut down peek . . .

Frequent KCMO voters supporting the impeachment of President Trump are also likely to vote for one of 2 council incumbents for Mayor.

^^^^ Sorry, couldn't share the specifics on that one but you know who they are if you've seen this Demo flash poll and they're not really that surprising.

60% of all frequent voters in Kansas City oppose the shut down . . .

^^^^ Actually, given Democratic Party party control of this town. I'm kinda surprised the number is that low.

Check the links and tell share your take on the local impact of this continued hot mess . . .

    2. They may not vote frequently in Kansas City, Missouri but I KNOW there are a lot of people in the metro area who absolutely support President Trump and more border security. You can't have a nation without borders and so far every other leader has ignored reality. He may not get the KC votes but look at Missouri and Kansas overall and that is definitely Trump country. The support for the president is great and some of those links you have chosen show that too.

  3. Deep State, Fascist, Democrat Government workers who make twice as much as private sector workers who pay their salaries should be afraid.

Government is huge, bloated, parasitical, overcompensated, arrogant and in sore need of curtailment.

But, unfortunately, the tipping point has been reached and behind the scenes, unelected, Deep State bureaucrats control policy, legislation and on an every day basis, negate the power of the electorate at will.

We live in a Kleptocracy where, in our children's lifetimes, the suspension of Free Speech and the Constitution (Which, is NOT a fuckin "Living Document" dumbasses.) is at hand.

  4. If that wall doesn't get built I'm going to publish all the addresses I can of people who are opposed to the wall. That way illegals can go to these places and get free food medical care and live with the people who oppose the wall.

Yes we should start with the half of the country suffering from chronic Trump derangements syndrome. Getting them the mental health treatment they deserve and a lifetime supply of meds to offset the permanent damage done to their nervous systems.

  26. The government does need a good paring down, in DC and all across the country. That’s one area Trump might be good for given his business background. He could probably find enough money for the wall by cutting the unnecessary positions on the government payroll.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Legal immigrants support the shutdown. Been having more business calls on home improvements more than ever. Even getting calls on the underground bunkers available. Selling down in SE Mo., Ark, Okla.

  28. The 10:39 tinfoil hat, like a broken clock, is occasionally right. "We live in a Kleptocracy where, in our children's lifetimes, the suspension of Free Speech and the Constitution is at hand."

It's not our children's lifetimes. It's now. Trump, his family, and his cabinet are all lining their pockets with taxpayer money while calling the free press (which is specifically protected in the constitution) the enemy of the people.

The "deep state" isn't going away. They will get their backpay eventually. Trump has turn government jobs into another crime family scam. No work with pay jobs. Trump's not reducing government. He is growing the welfare state. All while he has also stopped deportation hearings with his shutdown, which keeps illegals here.

Keep on cheering on your idiot leader.
