TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SURVEY SEYZ KANSAS CITY GOVERNMENT WORKERS FEAR PREZ TRUMP CUTBACKS AFTER SHUT DOWN RESOLUTION!!!
The shut down has reached a stalemate and tonight a historic address from the Prez will decide the fate of the border wall.
Sadly, the government shut down conversation has become so polarized that any "news" on the topic is simply fodder for partisan slap fighting.
And so, to keep our bloggy conversation ahead of the game and looking beyond the MSM garbage . . . We share this bit of polling goodness . . .
SURVEY SEYZ: KANSAS CITY GUV WORKERS THREATENED BY CUTBACKS NO MATTER WHO WINS THE BORDER WALL SHUT DOWN DRAMA!!!
Here's the word . . .
"The longer this thing goes on, the more inclined people are to MISTAKENLY believe that the size of government needs to be trimmed and employees should be cut. Even worse, I think it's obvious that most government workers don't support being furloughed and so a bit of payback is feared as well. With so many government workers in KC (50,000 +vendors) the impact of this shut down extends far beyond mere politics . . ."
A few quick facts from mayoral flash polling that offers a shut down peek . . .
Frequent KCMO voters supporting the impeachment of President Trump are also likely to vote for one of 2 council incumbents for Mayor.
^^^^ Sorry, couldn't share the specifics on that one but you know who they are if you've seen this Demo flash poll and they're not really that surprising.
60% of all frequent voters in Kansas City oppose the shut down . . .
^^^^ Actually, given Democratic Party party control of this town. I'm kinda surprised the number is that low.
Check the links and tell share your take on the local impact of this continued hot mess . . .

Moment Of Clarity
Oh: Trump Didn't Realize a Government Shutdown Would Shut Down the Government
In February 2016, Donald Trump the candidate had no idea he was required by law to put a transition team in place to initiate preparations to run the federal government.
You decide . . .
Trump is in it to win it tonight. I'm sure he has something HUGE planned. Look for him to convince the doubters this evening.
ReplyDeleteTrump has always wanted to slash the government, they workers are right to be fearful.
DeleteThey may not vote frequently in Kansas City, Missouri but I KNOW there are a lot of people in the metro area who absolutely support President Trump and more border security. You can't have a nation without borders and so far every other leader has ignored reality. He may not get the KC votes but look at Missouri and Kansas overall and that is definitely Trump country. The support for the president is great and some of those links you have chosen show that too.
DeleteThe wall is a fence and it's small just like his hands.
ReplyDeleteSorry.
Mike Pence 2020
DeleteDeep State, Fascist, Democrat Government workers who make twice as much as private sector workers who pay their salaries should be afraid.
ReplyDeleteGovernment is huge, bloated, parasitical, overcompensated, arrogant and in sore need of curtailment.
But, unfortunately, the tipping point has been reached and behind the scenes, unelected, Deep State bureaucrats control policy, legislation and on an every day basis, negate the power of the electorate at will.
We live in a Kleptocracy where, in our children's lifetimes, the suspension of Free Speech and the Constitution (Which, is NOT a fuckin "Living Document" dumbasses.) is at hand.
ReplyDeleteIf that wall doesn't get built I'm going to publish all the addresses I can of people who are opposed to the wall. That way illegals can go to these places and get free food medical care and live with the people who oppose the wall.
There's going to be no wall. Mexico is not paying for it neither are we. Impeach the motherfucker!
ReplyDeleteWow, a poll, huh?
ReplyDeleteACCORDING
TO
WHO???
No sources = garabge.
Tijuana is griping and whining about how much money and cash they are burning through to support the caravan tribes who've holed up there.
ReplyDeleteLOL
I bet the BMW driving yuppies and bros are feeling guilty those poor immigrants are stuck in Mexico now.
ReplyDeleteI support trump and live in the urban core of KCMO and have for most of my life. It's sad to see people I once respected losing their minds over this.
ReplyDeleteUh the days of walking over the border and saying wow here we iz, where iz our free stuff? are over.
ReplyDeleteCan we make up a different national emergency to rally around?
ReplyDeleteYes and we all know these media content farms linked to in this post are credible.
ReplyDeleteLOL
Yeah speaking of free stuff, it better not go on much longer. If the negroes stop getting their food stamps we be needin' to hides da chicken and watermelons!!!
ReplyDelete"Can we make up a different national emergency to rally around?"
ReplyDeleteYes we should start with the half of the country suffering from chronic Trump derangements syndrome. Getting them the mental health treatment they deserve and a lifetime supply of meds to offset the permanent damage done to their nervous systems.
I'm gonna watch the address tonight with a big glass of Kentucky Bourbon and smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteOnly a fool would put any weight into what a poll says now days.
ReplyDeletePolls are no long factual since it has been found they could be manipulated towards whatever snake oil you're are trying to sell.
"Only a fool would put any weight into what a poll says now days."
DeleteThat explains why Tony put so much weight into it.
So I guess that the recent poll in which 72% of the respondents said Super Dave was NOT a dipshit can't be trusted, right?
ReplyDeleteAll in all he just wants bricks for his wall but how can he have any pudding if he doesn't ea his meat.
ReplyDeleteTrump is feeling the heat on this failed shut down and Mueller's hot breath on his shoulder. Vegas has set the over/under on lies told tonight at 7. Take the over.
ReplyDeleteNetflix has "Lord Of The Rings" available for those who have a hankering for something closer to reality at that period of time this evening.
ReplyDeleteMy primo has a block building business in Mexico, how can I get him a government contact?
ReplyDeleteMost KC federal workers are Trump supporters so I suppose they are "making adjustmnts' as Trump told them to do.
ReplyDeleteAnd give us today our daily internet gossip
ReplyDeleteOne nation, under Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, and Snap Chat..
I don't need a poll to know Super Dave rocks.
ReplyDelete^^No, you would need a complete disconnect from reality for that.
ReplyDeleteThe government does need a good paring down, in DC and all across the country. That’s one area Trump might be good for given his business background. He could probably find enough money for the wall by cutting the unnecessary positions on the government payroll.
ReplyDeleteLegal immigrants support the shutdown. Been having more business calls on home improvements more than ever. Even getting calls on the underground bunkers available. Selling down in SE Mo., Ark, Okla.
ReplyDeleteThe 10:39 tinfoil hat, like a broken clock, is occasionally right. "We live in a Kleptocracy where, in our children's lifetimes, the suspension of Free Speech and the Constitution is at hand."
ReplyDeleteIt's not our children's lifetimes. It's now. Trump, his family, and his cabinet are all lining their pockets with taxpayer money while calling the free press (which is specifically protected in the constitution) the enemy of the people.
The "deep state" isn't going away. They will get their backpay eventually. Trump has turn government jobs into another crime family scam. No work with pay jobs. Trump's not reducing government. He is growing the welfare state. All while he has also stopped deportation hearings with his shutdown, which keeps illegals here.
Keep on cheering on your idiot leader.
When did TKC get flooded with CHUDs?
ReplyDeleteI love it when the right wing is reduced to cheering a president that is going to use executive powers to declare a fake emergency to seize private property.
ReplyDeleteMark Zuckerberg builds walls around all his property's to keep out the starving criminal hordes whats the big deal?
ReplyDeleteI am a former federal worker, at my agency about 1/3 of the workers were incompetent and sat around and read books all day
ReplyDelete^^^ the dummocraps have no one to blame but themselves if he does, I personally don’t think he will but......
ReplyDeleteSeizing private property for the state? Sounds like communism. Tsar Trump throw Chuck and Nancy in the gulag
ReplyDelete^^^ Lock them up!
ReplyDeleteJust another broken promise.
