KANSAS CITY PROVES 'SHOTSPOTTER' USELESS ON NEW YEAR'S 2019 WITH HUNDREDS OF GUNFIRE CALLS!!!

Let's not forget that Kansas City pays BIG BUCKS for so-called shot spotter tech but with 1700 calls and 300 gunfire reports last night, the surveillance program was rendered ineffective and just another fancy toy bought by taxpayers.

    ^^^^ C'mon. We know the drill here, a lot of those gunshots came from poor white neighborhoods too. Look at dog patch or Independence. They love shooting their guns in the air for any reason. Get real!

  4. The system worked fine. The issue is that only a fraction of the calls received by the systems or citizens could even be investigated by police due to manpower shortages. Even if the police arrive, it’s after the fact and nothing is usually found or it’s too late for the victim.

  6. According to the New York rag shot spotter technology is one of the new technologies KCMO is supposed to acquire in the future. KCMO already has it?

    Microphones will pick up conversations as well.
