Juveniles assaulted, packages stolen in South KC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two teens were arrested after they allegedly went on a spree of stealing packages from homes and breaking into homes in south Kansas City. "They got in and out quick," said Jeff Bly. Jeff Bly's Ring doorbell camera recorded two young men running away after taking packages from his doorstep.

Can you shoot someone if you catch them in the act of stealing something from your porch?

No.
You cannot shoot them for stealing.

On the other hand....you CAN shoot them and do the world a favor, but you will be in deep doo-doo.
On top of it, Mammy or Baby-Daddy be suing yo' ass.

But you can and should shoot them (in Missouri anyway) when they break through the back door of your house and enter it.
