ReplyDeleteFunny thing most of the bicyclist and scooters don't use these lanes and it has caused traffic and parking problems.
ReplyDeleteThere are more Transgender people than bike lane users.
ReplyDeleteUrban planners are over rated!
ReplyDeletethe parking lane is not a travel lane in rush hour? Scooters and bikes have to have parking in the car parking lane?
ReplyDeletetwo bike/scooter lanes on one side of the road, ingenious.
ReplyDeletecan u do that down 27th st or truman road instead of armour blvd or are you more likely to mess with traffic or get tackled. was 700,000 a reasonable price to paint bike lanes on armour?
ReplyDeleteis that correct 700,000? pretty sure i read that.
ReplyDeleteSo when will the bikes pay for a road tax ?
ReplyDeleteNarrowing our roads does not make them safer for cyclists and it is bad for commerce. Narrowed and eliminated lanes make it harder to turn left or cross a street.
ReplyDeleteRadish
I can count several times where I went for a right hand turn then realized I'm encroaching in a bike lane that popped up out of nowhere, and I'd like to think I'm a fairly observant driver. I guess they serve a porpoise, but if I was a biker, I'd probably just risk a tick and ride the sidewalk not risk my life with KCMO drivers (or Peculiar, MO police officers) on their phones.
