KANSAS CITY CHIEFS STAY WINNING 37-21 AGAINST CLEVELAND BROWNS: WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE THIS IS FOR REAL???

An unremarkable game against an unremarkable team added another victory to the record of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nevertheless, the contests still seem like practice and the game has "evolved" so much over the past decade that it really is more like watching basketball than classic or even college football. QBs are protected more than kickers and the pace is a lot faster and higher scoring . . . This makes the competition more fun to witness but also changes old standards.

It seems like a lot of the other NFL teams suck by comparison . . . So maybe it's not that the Chiefs are the next great dynasty but that the rest of the NFL is in decline.

Moreover, irrational hyperbole now defines the American discourse and the level of adoration bestowed upon The Kansas City Chiefs is much more enthusiastic than the celebration of most victorious armies throughout world history.

BUT . . . A win is a win and here are the most informative news links we've found on the topic . . . Checkit:

  2. Actually, it's not a game, it's a big busienss and most people have been fooled into thinking that it's important. Especially this blogger who offers way too much space for the topic when we should be talking about the elections that the threats to our nation!

  3. I agree with 5:36. Its hard to believe because some of the players are so self absorbed their brains are in their knees.

  5. To answer your headline question: There are at least two reasons. First, 48 consecutive years of disappointment, wait until next year, rising ticket, parking and refreshment costs. Second, Have you seen this years defense? Enough said.

  6. The Chiefs are not the only red wave, wait until Tuesday night.

  7. I swore off the NFL and the Chef's when all the "protests started. Haven't watched a game except if caught it while at the cash register paying $8 for a six pack. Not interested. They will find a way to screw up and not make it to the Super Bowl. It is too bad I had to make my own stand against them because I think Mahomes is probably a good QB. But I stick to my principles and don't watch. Not unhappy either. Three more hours in my weekend.

  9. Having some data reservations is okay I just don't like to see some of the haters go after the team because of their stupid politics or because they just have a bad attitude. Just be objective about it is good enough for me. You look at the season so far and there's not a lot of reasons to complain in fact an optimist would see the progress the team has made over last year. Football isn't your thing? I get it we all have different interests. But the fact is is that a lot of people in Kansas City love the Chiefs and their performance helps this town economically with morale and just making this city a better more fun place to live in... There's no there's nothing wrong with that.

  11. Why is it hard to believe? Maybe because our defense is so worthless.

Bob Sutton, the Chiefs Defensive Coordinator is a senile doddering old fool. Every single defensive player they have is a cunthole that doesn’t like to tackle. They all need to go back to whatever shithole ghetto they are from.

    1. Good, I think the fans who know the game can see there's some real weaknesses in the team. It's not anything that can't be overcome but all of this endless hype and cheering doesn't do anybody any good except for the advertisers and maybe f****** Price Chopper. I just wish we could get more decent Sports Talkers in Kansas City who understand the game like @10:33 than just the same old marketing hacks.
