COUNCIL LADY HEATHER HALL TALKED TRASH FIRST AND NOW COUNCIL DUDE DAN FOWLER FOLLOWS UP!!!

Double take on the Northland trash issue and middle-class complaints across the bridge . . .

Last week we talked about Council Lady Heather Hall taking on this issue via social media and a conversation with her constituents.

Now, here's a bit of swagger-jacking with good intentions . . .

Dan Fowler, the 2nd district councilman, said in a press release that there have been too many "blatant failures" with the trash service and it's time to get things back on schedule.

"Untimely trash pickup is more than an inconvenience; it’s a health issue, and it can be neighborhood codes issue, as well," Fowler said.

Again, while we welcome trash talk at City Hall . . . Even the Northland has bigger problems than suburbanites and their stupid overly manicured lawns.

You decide . . .

  1. Everybody knows north of the river has a lot of white trash.

  2. Once again council member Teresa Loar is on the wrong side of the issue or simply no where to be found. The trash problem is huge on the north side and while her colleagues work the issue where is Teresa? At this hour, she’s probably still sleeping off last nights bottle of Merlot. (The old broad likes her wine.) She is the most in effective and irrelevant council member ever elected in KCMO. Irrelevant Teresa Loar.

  3. ^^^Blah blah blah.

  4. Everyone knows Teresa Loar drinks too much, whines too much (no pun intended) gripes too much and snipes to much. She lost control of the airport and couldn’t even build a coalition among her colleagues to creat a different path forward. And now she can’t even get ahead if a trash pickup issue in her district. Teresa Loar is ineffective and irrelevant.

  5. Lest we forget, Teresa Loar did make a colossal effort to bring the 1,000 acre Laidlaw landfill to Shoal Creek/Hodge Park, west of Liberty, by hook or by crook. This was between her trips to the Paris Airshow for the KC Aviation Committee.

    1. You got that right!!! The free trips all over the world she took on behalf the city’s aviation department only to have the entire airport project be advanced by someone else - because she was on the wrong side of the renovation issue. Because she’s not a good politician and because she’s so irritating no one would help her. She is an ineffective and irrelevant politician.

  6. Everything's going to be alright, because Heather Hall gave us "Big Sonia Day". With such a monumental achievement under her belt, I'm sure that something as trivial as bad trash service will be a snap for Heather to fix. Perhaps Heather and Big Sonia could visit the good people that are impacted by substandard trash service and give them some hope for a better future.

  8. It's not "blah, blah, blah" it's getting pretty damn blatant!

It is obvious that the posts made at 8:32, 9:33, 10:18 and 11:21 are all from the same source, and that the source is most probably located in or connected to the Mayor's Office!

The continual attacks on Councilwoman Loar from the "Airport Clique" are a result of her ongoing opposition to their agenda and her continual advocacy of remodeling KCI!

The vileness spewed from them is becoming more and more vicious as the details of how their scheme is falling apart in their hands!

You ant to talk drunkenness, then just imagine the panicky guzzling that must be going on behind closed doors at 12th and Oak!

Also, I'm not a constituent of Ms. York, I am one of the 8,300 Northlanders that have had the misfortune to have been shunted into Ms. Justice's District, in violation of provisions of the City Charter!

  9. After weeks of problems Fowler realized that his constituents really want basic city services. No don’t call 311 Call Fowler’s office tell him that either the trash gets picked up or dumped on his lawn.

  10. We live north of the river in the (get this) FOURTH DISTRICT, but we used to be in the FIRST DISTRICT and then in the SECOND DISTRICT due to the screwing of the City Council. All those districts and we didn't have to move once.

Point is our trash service is EXCELLENT. Those guys work hard to get the stuff picked up in a timely manner.

  11. @12:34; City hall minions are definitely out in force on TKC today trying to control the narrative.
Kick ass insiders inform me the minions take turns performing these dastardly deeds.

  12. I don't manicure my lawn, I put weed and feed on it and mow it is all. I'm not spending big bucks on my water bill to get the grass green that's for sure it will be dormant and come back when we get more rain.

  13. If Teresa Loar was a skilled politician she would have built a coalition of her fellow council members to block the KCI corruption, but she’s not skilled in anything except nagging.
