Lawrence Activist Sues Over Arrest At Kansas City Library Public Event Two Years Ago

A Kansas City Public library patron who was forcibly removed from a public event nearly two years ago is suing Kansas City police officials and others, saying they deprived him of his constitutional rights. Jeremy Rothe-Kushel, an activist and documentary filmmaker who lives in Lawrence, was physically restrained and escorted from the event on May 9, 2016.

  8. Obviously none of you watched the video, the two OFF-F**KING-DUTY Cops over-reacted incredibly, both should have been fired the next day (if this City had a Chief or mayor with a pair), and criminal assault charges should have been filed the day after that!
