Lawrence Activist Sues Over Arrest At Kansas City Library Public Event Two Years Ago

A Kansas City Public library patron who was forcibly removed from a public event nearly two years ago is suing Kansas City police officials and others, saying they deprived him of his constitutional rights. Jeremy Rothe-Kushel, an activist and documentary filmmaker who lives in Lawrence, was physically restrained and escorted from the event on May 9, 2016.

Poor baby, he was running his mouth to much and not letting other people “exercise” their first amendment rights so he was removed, good, effing crybaby. Another all about me and nobody else matters moment brought to you by generation tide pod

6:46 right on target. Progs all sure only their opinions count. Here's mine, Go Fuck Yourself, and if you have time with your busy collegiate schedule, and all, do the same for the rest of Lawrence.

Obviously none of you watched the video, the two OFF-F**KING-DUTY Cops over-reacted incredibly, both should have been fired the next day (if this City had a Chief or mayor with a pair), and criminal assault charges should have been filed the day after that!

Tough talk from "Basement Boys" doesn't change the facts!

Glad to hear the lawsuit going forward.
