Let's face it, the years haven't been kind to Kansas SecState Kris Kobach and while his radical right-wing ideology might resonate with many voters . . . His eye-candy days are long gone.
(Real talk: Most of us NEVER had any eye-candy glory days so this isn't hateration we're casting upon the Sunflower State politico - Just a realization that campaigns for political office are more like a high school popularity contest than most people care to imagine.)
And so . . .
Because great wealth has helped him to preserve his hairline and youthful appearance . . .
Here's the best looking suit to compete to lead Kansas . . .
CJ Online: Businessman Greg Orman officially launching independent campaign for Kansas governor
Deets . . .
"Olathe entrepreneur Greg Orman officially launched an independent gubernatorial campaign Wednesday emphasizing the necessity of placing the modern era’s raucous partisan politics aside to sustain policies delivering economic growth, access to health care and government transparency to Kansans."
And so voters must ask themselves . . .
WILL KANSAS VOTE FOR A DAPPER BIZ DUDE IN ORDER TO AVOID REPUBLICAN ALT-RIGHT VS. ESTABLISHMENT SLAP-FIGHTING?!?!
You decide . . .
I'll give him one thing, he's smart to skip the GOP primary - THAT is going to be a nasty fight full of blood curses so vitriolic that nothing gets accomplished for the next 5 years.
ReplyDeleteSweet Tits Kris Kobach is going back to work.
ReplyDeleteAn independent candidate will take votes away from the moderate Democratic candidate and Kobach will win.
ReplyDeleteAnd Orman will end up by being nothing more than a spoiler like Nader in the presidential election years ago.
Thanks Greg!
^^^ That's a great theory but Orman is closer to a Republican. And Democrats aren't really running anyone serious. The fight is against Republicans. Kobach might not even make it out of the primary.
ReplyDeleteOrman has the advantage against both Kobach & Colyer.
ReplyDeleteOrman is a bleeding heart liberal!
In order to have a chance, Orman must eventually declare his positions on specific issues. That's something he was reluctant to do the last time he ran for higher office.
ReplyDeleteBest guess is that he pulls support from the Dem candidate, and the Rep will win. One of the few positions Orman ever took - in his last race - was that he would caucus with the Dems. Even in the wake of Brownback, rural Kansans will be leery of that.
Then again, maybe he can do some commercials that show him firing an M-16.
it's important for governors to be cheerleaders and team leaders for a state.
ReplyDeleteorman would be good at that stuff.
his idealogy is too left for kansas, but really that might not make much difference for a governor.
that's how he might win.
Orman looks great in a polo shirt.
ReplyDeleteCripes, we're going to end up with Kobach. Just another weirdo in charge. Why do I live in this state again?
ReplyDeleteOrman is a democrat, not an independent...and one with deep pockets.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't waste my vote on either one of them. I think Colyer will win in a landslide and the healing in Kansas will finally begin.
ReplyDeleteKrazy Kris Kobach is the most famous gay pinup dude in Kansas.
ReplyDeleteOrman should go back to wherever he came from.
