A busy week for developers and denizens of the Kansas City discourse as local streets continue to endure record breaking violence whilst our political leadership seems more concerned with development.
Here's a quick look for who came out on top . . .
18th & Vine Demands $20 Million
Local newsies didn't read the fine print and don't know that this ongoing jazz tribute will need MILLIONS MORE according to their plan that has endured quite a bit longer than the jazz age.
Coach's Plans A Comeback
Our blog community wishes this beleaguered biz the best . . . Top quote for this week as this beloved place move forward without flood insurance: "The business has real and definable "Blue Sky". It prints money by way of loyal customers, who are like a family and come for the good food, cold beer and bonhomie."

Toy Train Part Deux Triumph

ReplyDeleteThanks for your insight, Tracy.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to have contributed a term for Jeff and Steve.
They have been especially deceptive in recent elections. Fortunately, they don't always win.
I will donate all Mop & Glow to City Union Mission.
Hooray for Joe J!!! Brilliant and funny.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting--you are seeing the truth.
Tracy, you a such a beautiful, sexy woman!
Delete18th & Vine. More money wasted.
ReplyDeleteAnd THIS is how Kansas City was destroyed. There are a few people standing against the looting of our city but most are just walking around with their hand out.
ReplyDeleteThis week proves one thing about KC: We're up for sale to the highest bidder.
ReplyDeleteYou mean sLIE and gang are up for sale, they move out after their terms because they don't want to pay the high taxes and don't want to live in the disgusting and crime ridden city they created. 18th and vine has always been a joke, the cleave created this disaster when he was mayor and continues to push to waste tax dollars that should go to schools and infrastructure, he just can't admit that his plan didnt work but in typical boon fashion it's not his money so he don't care. just because a couple decent jazz musicians hung out there for a short time he acts like it was born here, it's time to let it go
ReplyDeleteWow gee whiz I thought that the Jazz musicians were there for years and years for the way they go on and on about this Jazz District, I also believe that scat music was created there if I'm not mistaken. Yes the original Scatman used to be down there doing their thing on the street corners really the beginning of rap, to see who can scat doopity Doo better than the other. I don't know I'm all confused now I plays is a trip man
ReplyDeleteA city ordnance outlawing gay bars everywhere except the 18th and Vine area would save it biggly.
