SHOCK!!! TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! KANSAS CITY TRIPLE MURDER SATURDAY NIGHT SENDS HOMICIDE COUNT SKYROCKETING PAST 70 AMID BLOODY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!!!
After a bloody rampage of gunfire on local streets, there is no denying the Kansas City homicide crisis.
In fact, it was hard to distinguish betwixt shots fired and fireworks in this lead up to the 4th of July.
Here's the damage . . .
Early in the evening police were called to the 1600 block of E. 80th St. on a fatal shooting call.
And then . . . A double murder on 28th Terrace and Myrtle Avenue occurred early this morning.
Unofficially the homicide count is 72 compared to 51 at this time last year.
And so . . .
KANSAS CITY NOW CONFRONTS A HOMICIDE SURGE OF 40% OVER LAST YEAR!!!
At the outset of June our blog community warned of a homicide crisis in Kansas City and now the situation has has worsened while City Hall and corporate priorities remain stubbornly and frivolously focused on a triple development agenda involving a new airport, downtown hotel and streetcar extension.
