TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! BLAME MAYOR SLY AND INFRASTRUCTURE NEGLECT FOR ICY AND DANGEROUS KANSAS CITY STREETS!!!
This morning it's more than likely that a couple of people are going to die on dangerous Kansas City streets.
Meanwhile, Mayor Sly James has proven time and time again the he's more interested in building hotels and giving tax breaks to his friends than tending to boring issues like snow/ice removal on local streets.
Later this morning we can expect that Mayor Sly will tout the brave work of road crews in order to shift blame and hold off criticism but the fact is that the KCMO streets were a mess before the ice, sleet and snow this morning.
To wit . . .
LIKE IT OR NOT, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF MAYOR SLY JAMES, KANSAS CITY STREETS ARE IN THE WORST CONDITION THIS TOWN HAS SEEN IN 20 YEARS!!!
Steel plates rule the day, potholes line many streets and even a moderate and expected bit of inclement weather threatens to bring this town to a standstill.
Sadly, there are no solutions to this crisis in leadership on the horizon. Instead, we just want readers to be extra careful on local streets this morning and realize that the treacherous conditions on Kansas City roads are an act of nature AND a reflection of a local leader who would rather build tourist attractions than maintain the infrastructure of this town for residents outside of Downtown and the Crossroads.
