TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY INSIDERS WARN OF CATHY JOLLY WRONGFUL TERMINATION LAWSUIT THAT COULD COST EMBATTLED EXECUTIVE MIKE SANDERS BIG TIME!!!

The aftermath of a top ranking politico dismissal in Jackson County government has engendered a great many hard feelings and bruised egos among local Democratic Party elite.
Accordingly . . .
JACKSON COUNTY INSIDERS REVEAL TALK OF A WRONGFUL TERMINATION LAWSUIT THREAT THAT COULD ROCK THE COURTHOUSE AND KANSAS CITY DEMOCRAT POWER PLAYERS!!!

Yes, yes . . . We all know that Missouri is an "at will" employment state but that guideline has NEVER stopped a political vendetta or the odds of winning big in an employment dispute.
In fairness, other Jackson County Insiders say the Exec did the right thing by showing Cathy Jolly the door.
Such is life . . . Doing the right thing (whatever that might be) is rarely enough.
Accordingly, JaxCo Insiders offer a great number of reasons why Cathy Jolly poses a real threat IF she goes through with a wrongful termination lawsuit.
- The timing of her firing is curious upon talk and so much speculation about Federal Investigation at the Courthouse . . . Like it or not, whistle-blower lawsuits are all the new hotness among hipsters and strident news readers.
- Girl Power Pay Back - Cathy Jolly has a STRONG base of lady supporters and friends. These women work together, talk and decide a great many things in Kansas City politics. Part of the lure of hiring Cathy Jolly in the first place was to tap into this contingent of female rising stars.
- Old school disrespect . . . The dust up went down quick according to Kansas City Insiders . . . One part of the deal that most will overlook harkens back to the old days of local politics but it's STILL very important: County Exec Mike Sanders probably should've called or talked with Councilman Scott Taylor (Cathy Jolly's husband) before the battle. A simple sign of courtesy could've gone a long way . . . Even if it wasn't a warning but just a gesture to assure a good relationship despite employment issues . . . Strangely, the County Exec is usually really good at stuff like that but this oversight was crucial.
Finally, according to insider . . .
"All of this is just one more thing that will cost taxpayers and make sure those property assessments are even higher next time around. This was a bad move by the Executive."
It's probably too late to hire her back but rest assured that while MSM keeps employment disputes quiet, this politico controversy will continue to RAGE among Kansas City insiders.
Developing . . .
Mike wouldn't be the first candidate to face a hard time because of a a woman scored. I'm betting that he has Georgia working on this right now, give Mike some credit man.
ReplyDeletegirl power go!
ReplyDeleteJOLLY threatens suit? Hahaha
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine Jolly in court trying to explain exactly why she was hired in the first place, and what if anything she accomplished for her salary!!!
They could sell tickets to that courtroom!
my point is, NOBODY FUCKING CARES, thanks niggers
ReplyDeleteBREAKING!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMcClatchy reports 3Q loss
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ McClatchy Co. (MNI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $1.1 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Sacramento, California-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 4 cents per share.
The media company and owner of The Kansas City Star posted revenue of $251.2 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $1.44. A year ago, they were trading at $3.25.
Company executives refused to comment on speculation that The Kansas City Star would be sold to Tony Botello for one dollar.
Wrongful termination for not showing up to work?
ReplyDeleteSomeone is obviously hoping for one of those "cheaper to settle than fight" deals. Hopefully Sanders will fight.
White people are hateful among themselves, no wonder a minority has little chance of success.
ReplyDeleteShit, how can you be fired from a no-show job? When you're collecting a paycheck for doing nothing, how can you do it badly enough to get your ass fired? Somebody who understands these things explain it to me.
ReplyDelete"Mike wouldn't be the first candidate to face a hard time because of a a woman scored." Do you mean woman scorned, or are you trying to start a rumor?
ReplyDelete^ +1!
ReplyDeleteI can explain it to you very easily, 1:36.
ReplyDeleteTony is once again blowing smoke up his readers' hindquarters and running to "publish" any bit of office gossip he hears, as long as it's juicy. Doesn't care if it's true or not. Doesn't even care if his "tipster" even knows what he/she is talking about.
Sanders is screwing up by the numbers just another nail in the coffin
ReplyDeleteMikey should have never hired her it was a problem that is now turned into major County liability.
ReplyDeleteCathy will win that lawsuit, the Pitch article caused the all the trouble and everyone knows that.
ReplyDeleteIs this part of Sly James Fake Prosperity for all agenda that taxpayers will end up holding the bag for the next 75 years?
ReplyDeleteRising Stars
ReplyDeleteLMAO! The jokes on this blog are great. I will admit that.
And the two links to TKC
ReplyDeleteLAMO! Funny stuff.
I'm a cocktailsmologist. And I'd like to buy this rising star a drink.
ReplyDeleteSanders did the right thing? Bullshit. He got all pissed cause Jolly would not throw herself under the bus for HIS actions. So he just gave her a shove.
ReplyDeleteAll that really matters is, does she swallow?? Inquiring minds, need to know!
ReplyDelete1:06: Das raycis.
ReplyDeleteDo you 513?
ReplyDeleteNow, STFU.
Who the hell cares about Kathy Jolly? She can just take and Republic reduced Missouri unemployment benefits and go fly a kite. Her husband is still raking in $60,000 for being on the Council. That's an even bigger waste of taxpayer money if you want my opinion. Even if you don't want my opinion, it's hard to debate the contrary.
ReplyDeleteI am sure Jolly will sue, she has depended so long on the taxpayers giving her a salary for doing very little she has no clue what it is like to go out in the real world and earn an honest living.
ReplyDeleteSo who is watching Combat? Jim Nunnelly was under Jolly's supervision.... Not Stacey Daniels-Young. Who is looking at the contracts for Samuel Rodgers etal?
ReplyDeleteIf Jolly was doing her job then she would have had her hands full.
