This story originated in our comment section with neighborhood leader testimony about recent homicide. In a very brave signed comment regarding the progress of KC Nova, El Bryan told us:
"We only saw one murder in Indian Mound last year. We had six in the past four weeks including a teenager and a possible hate crime against a transgendered individual.
"I would still argue that KC NoVA has worked, but with racial and gender identity politics ramping up, economics taking a nose dive, and local leadership focused on gentrification policies, it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.
"We need more opportunities to discuss and understand our differences openly and honestly"
A few weeks later, here's the local news report . . . Indian Mound surrounded by homicide spike, change starts with park

This is why property values are plunging over there. The only positive is your property tax bill is obscenely low if you don't mind living in a urban war zone.

Agreed. We need late 18th early 19th century transportation attached to overhead wires to inject some vibrancy into this area of town. Brick and mortar market rate apartments, some artisan beer joints.

One has to assume that nig nigs have begun their destruction of Northeast. As their migration has moved north of the river, the spike in crime in the Northland is rising accordingly.
ReplyDeleteAgain, as in other downtrodden areas, it can be attributed to the influx of "blacks" and their criminal mentality and disregard for human values.
The thought of Stalder living in a neighborhood where he might potentially be murdered closes my Sunday with a warm and cheerful feeling.
