TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST!!! OUR BLOG COMMUNITY CROWNS CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER KANSAS CITY 2015 TOP POLITICO!!!

The quest for power is now at the forefront of the Kansas City political conversation.
To wit . . .
OUR BLOG COMMUNITY CONCEDES THAT CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER REIGNS SUPREME AS KANSAS CITY'S MOST POPULAR AND EFFECTIVE ELECTED LEADER TO START 2015!!!
This was a begrudging admission from our KICK-ASS SUBSCRIBER COMMUNITY which is the best kind or public opinion poll.
Some comments:
"Sly, Skippy and the car wash guy . . . That's not a strong list to choose from . . ."
"The only politician that actually works and take interest in his neighborhood in my opinion is Brandon Ellington."
"I don't support any of them."
Still . . . Voter participation in this poll was at a stunning 82% and here are the results:
Going Into 2015: Who Is Your Favorite Kansas City Politico???
Congressman Cleaver: 77.3% - Winner
Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders: 20%
Kansas City Mayor Sly James: 6.7%
There's even more data to support this decision, Congressman Cleaver was the driving force behind efforts to earn a national designation for the Liberty Memorial WWI site. Congressman Cleaver was also a key local figure of support in protests for a higher minimum wage this year. Finally, Jacob Turk didn't come close to challenging the Congressman in the last election. Right or wrong, the consensus is that Congressman Cleaver OWNS his seat and won't move on until he is ready.
Like it or not, our blog community understands who holds power in Kansas City. More than anybody else, Congressman Cleaver rules the cast of so many competing politicos to start 2015.
And all this has inspired our playlist tonight.
As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday Night.
Those were some rough choices. But there really aren't many conservatives in KC. Does Silvey even count?
ReplyDeleteDeveloped musical taste and discernment has never been one of Tony's strong points.
ReplyDeleteWhat blog community?
ReplyDeleteWhat ya got six subscribers?
ReplyDeleteCleaver might be the most effective but I don't think he could beat Sly in a face to face run off. In fact, if Sly wants Cleaver's job, he could have it. You heard it here first TKC.
ReplyDeleteBeth still gets the award for best KC politician ever.
ReplyDeleteMichael Brooks is the only leader brave enough to show his man chicken.
ReplyDeleteCleaver? Seriously? Thats the best jackson county has?

LIKE FACTS, MATH IS NOT MY SPECIALTY
If Cleaver is so popular, why does he need to bus people to the polls on Election Day and pay them???
ReplyDeleteBegrudging, indeed. voted for Mike Sanders in spite of.
ReplyDelete7:54 PM He carried the one... what do you want from us. Leave us alone. Stop reading this blog if you don't like it. Go away. Easy. Make it a resolution. Buh-bye!

ReplyDeleteTKC PLAYLIST REVIEW
ReplyDeleteTaylor Swift--Shake It Off--anorexic white girl scores a hit with a catchy upbeat tune that invites everyone to get silly!
Sam Smith--I'm Not The Only One--a light is shone on suburban quiet lives of desperation. Daring.
Pitbull--Fireball--appreciate the eye-candy and the horn section, but this is a Flameout.
Ed Sheeran--Don't--I didn't!
Tove Lo--Habits--Cautionary anthem for America's wayward dazed aimless youth.
...and the weekly WINNER is:
Sam Smith--I'm Not The Only One
7:21 Said man chicken. 8:31 is right.
ReplyDeletePendergast, and most family operations, are not as interested in the power balance as they are in contracts and who gets them. One thing the mob knows; is everyone is a whore, you just have to name the right price, keep it quiet, and get the job done. This bunch of is easily bought and sold, just like the bunch before. Its pretty bad when the feds talk about the bad politicos here.
Oh Great! Now Tony is going to use the unknown subscriber subcommunity to give his bullshit notions credibility. Fucking hell this blog is one flush away from being down the shit hole.
ReplyDeleteWho is this Beth everyone keeps talking about?
ReplyDeleteif tony didn't have his hater that would be half of his readership. funny how people complain constantly but read all the time.
ReplyDeleteAs for cleaver, i voted for Sly. he is a much better man and at least he served his country.
Fun fact -- Cleaver barely won in November when you add the Libertarian (read Republican vote) to the Republican candidate's vote.
ReplyDeleteWrong, u can't count the primary twice. In both his victory was +10 points. Close only counts in horseshoes and not even then.
ReplyDeleteAnybody stupid enough to give T $25.00 bucks to be in his club is a fucking dolt !
ReplyDeleteI thought Mike Sander's had it wrapped up for 1st place.
ReplyDeleteSo Cleaver? That's the best you've got? I grifter, race baiter, said he was spit on and called a nigger when three camera angles show it didn't happen? I tax cheat, a flim flam pastor, a failed car wash operator! That's your beacon of political greatness? Sad.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who put's faith in political leadership please step up to the guillotine
ReplyDeleteA World War I Memorial would be a Labor Memorial because Labor was crushed by 1917.
ReplyDeleteCleaver being declared top dog pretty much sums up what this metro has turned into.
ReplyDeleteThe Sanders percentage represents the Republican vote.
ReplyDeletePay your bills Congressman Deadbeat. You suck and mooch off the government teat for everything.
