It's a good location and so far the reviews and response have been excellent which is important given that this local biz represent a bit more hope in this town than Mayor Sly's upcoming taxpayer subsidized Downtown Convention hotel.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of taxes and hotels in KC...the hotel taxes in general for this city are INSANE. Many business travelers avoid KC proper like the plague because of it.
this was such a grody ass hotel when it was "The Q".
ReplyDeleteThis is probably another case where the land underneath the hotel is worth more than the 40 year old decaying ode to 70s modernism.
No, this is the old Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express so it adds to the odd design theme of The Q.

It's a KC themed hotel so I'm surprised there wasn't more coverage on this blog. Make sense.
