ReplyDeleteLook at your picture closely. You don't have three dozen people standing behind those barricades.
At the barricade itself, you have 15 people. Behind the barricade are another dozen or so, and most of those are obviously media and cops.
So maybe at most, you got 20 Nazis, which is far fewer than "three dozen" yet far more than they would have gotten without the daily publicity from the KC media.
Meanwhile, the Star estimates the counter protest at 300, not 700 and not 1,000.
That's a pretty good-sized crowd, but I am sure the shouting and chanting and flag-waving back and forth will make excellent footage for the evening news, which is exactly what the Nazis wanted.
