This story features a local lady blaming the Prez for everything bad in her life . . .
KCTV5: Woman losing health coverage due to Obamacare
The story is pretty typical but the social media reaction is much better with liberals attacking the lady and reporting of the tale and conservatives raging . . . Either way, the healthcare fight is good for a laugh and hopefully doesn't raise anyone's blood pressure because Obamacare doesn't cover that kind of thing.
How did she become a single mother?
ReplyDeleteShocking that a guy who never earned a check from a For Profit company in his entire life, the high point of his curriculum vitae being a "community organizer", fucked up 1/6th of the economy faster than you could buy dubs with your latest EBT deposit.
ReplyDeleteThe ACA is a fucking dumpster fire that will wreck the economy next year. Those premiums are serious and the transfer of wealth initiative will hurt poor folks a lot worse than anyone realizes.
Obama Care is a fast spreading economic necrosis that will kill this economy with the destruction of disposable income, now spent on uneeded health care.
This is actually a bipartisan issue for folks in the street. No matter what your politics, this thing will suck the life out of the economy and your wallet.
That chick voted Democratic. Just an opinion, but she probably bought into the "War On Women" bullshit and sucked up the narrative, then cast her vote for her own destruction.
ReplyDeleteWill see 552. I had been covering my family under Cobra for 16 months until I recently got a new job with insurance. The cost under BCBS was over 1200 a month. The options under the new law are significantly lower.
ReplyDeleteIt's really an actuarial issue. We would not let this woman drive with $10 K in liability coverage, but she wants to limit her exposure to that level. If she is stricken, or her kids are, with a medical issue that exceeds $10 K, she gets her (albeit substandard) services through social service systems or the emergency ward, and the rest of us pay for that through higher premiums and taxes.
Everybody in their 20's, who is healthy, wants minimal coverage at lower premiums, and as they age, want better coverage as their costs increase. If we accommodate that mindset, no insurance, either public or private, will survive. The calculus does not work. It kind of like allowing people to enroll for insurance in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
The problem with the ACA is that it has to vet through the political process where half of the elects (and their constituents) will be against it because a dem president is advocating a solution that is certainly not perfect.
With the baby boomers reaching their highest cost phase in medical care, this is a real issue. The problem is, that it can't be fixed in a business approach.
I am currently under a $2000 high deductible plan that covers preventative care. I get the benefit of negotiated contract rates and I have AETNA protecting my ass against overcharges that are unnecessary. I self cover myself and prudently see doctors only when I need to. The ACA really should have taken this approach to mandatory coverage.
It's helpful to take the time to understand health insurance. Few do. If you simply hate it because Obama supported it, you wont be helpful.
Kind of like the conspiracy theorists who never took the time to read the Warren Report.
Time Incorporated actually meant "nigger of the year"...

ReplyDeleteYa gota be kidding me. Look at the 7 million (So Far) who have lost their insurance after the promise (Which emails and testimony prove were a lie.) that they could "Keep thier insurance". Look at the costs to folks who are experiencing dramatic increases and this is widespread. It is a dumpster fire and more importantly a device to transfer wealth to folks who vote Democratic.
The reviews on the entire plan, from soup to nuts are overwhelmingly NEGATIVE!
It is a disaster and it will hurt the economy and hurt it for a long time. Our economy is a house of cards as it is, unemployment etc etc and now, the added costs to small business and middle class Americans on a month to month basis, will kill our asses.
We will wait and see, like you said, but the sound you hear, in my opinion isn't thunder, or the wheels coming off, it is both.
Yea, 652, an exacting assessment of the commitment that everyone could keep their policy was overstated. An accurate, legally defensible presentation would have had all those boring caveats that no one has the patience to read or listen to.
ReplyDeleteThe political problem is illustrated by the deep thought associated with 639. If Obama said the sun rose in the east, he would have the same blog entry. It illustrates why informed decision making is in our rear view mirror. It also shows why we are getting the same dumbed down elected to pander to those with no understanding of what the fuck they are talking about.
802.....652=don't waste your oxygen.
ReplyDeleteI for one can not believe tat an attempt to overhaul the rotting and corrupt health care racket is not working flawlessly from day one.
ReplyDeleteWe must fight to save our 35th ranked healthcare system!
ReplyDeleteIt's the absolute best in the world....at wasting money and making pharmaceutical reps filthy rich!
stupid nigger and his followers.
ReplyDeleteAll of you that worship this man and all of his hope and change crap. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI am the last guy who things the government should be halfway in the insurance business. However, I don't think one corporation should own 80 percent of the large hospitals in America either. With that said the government is in it - Now straighten the freaking mess out before you starve us out.
ReplyDeleteHey, you assholes! My monthly health insurance premium went DOWN starting Jan. 2014. Same company. Same coverage.
ReplyDeleteGO OBAMACARE!!!!
Uh huh! When you get that bill with all that uncovered add on shit tell us all about your Obamacare coverage. The new techniques employed by the medical care providers are going to make the old phone sales bill slamming scam look like amateur hour. All the insurance company has to say is it ain't covered as health care and you get to pay 100 percent. I guarantee you these will be plenty of that stuff on your bill.
ReplyDeleteWrong, dipshit. I am a person who actually READS what my policy covers unlike 99% of idiots that don't.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, to state the obvious, the fact that Obama spoke those words, or words extremely like them, a thousand times during the ObamaCare debate proves they were carefully scripted, and not a throwaway remark. And to state the equally obvious, Obama knew -- or at least his strategists knew -- that he was making a promise he would not keep, for at least three reasons: first, the cancelled policy wave that ObamaCare's implementation has instigated was expected and predictable; second, no politician can guarantee that you will be able to keep something over which politicians have no direct control, such as a private insurance policy; and third, that you should keep your plan was exactly the outcome they were hoping to thwart.
ReplyDelete@1:30 Talk out your ass Mr. Know It All. When you land in the hospital make sure you come back and tell us all how you can read those bills.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is health insurance itself. We should nationalize health care, like the civilized countries.
ReplyDelete5:27...How did she become a single mother???? By opening her slut whore legs and letting some nigger sperm her so she could have a half and half nigglet that you are going to have to pay to take care of. Not just once but several times until that fuk hole is used up!
ReplyDeleteThis fucking nigger, is totally fucking up this country, all by himself. The son-of-a-bitch thinks he'll next be head of the United Nations too but maybe not....
ReplyDeleteHey fuck-face Byron: Why in the fuck do you care? Your getting east coast Medicaid and all the other gov't assistance your cheating the hard working american "white" folk out of.
ReplyDeleteYou have looked at his policy 620?
ReplyDeleteDamn problem with the internet is that it affords the same air to those who guess to suit their own bias, to those who take the time to understand.
620 is on it. I believe it was Vince Bugliosi whose first question to conspiracy theorists is, "did you read the Warren Report?".
Take the time. Not the racist guy. That's pointless. We can talk about the weather and he will make a racist attack. And he is the cum and prostate poster. Loser.
I would like to take time this thanksgiving to thank all who paid for my healthcare coverage, food, drugs, transportation, children's early childhood education, and free phone....maybe you aren't the big racists I make you out to be. But we will see next year how you do.
ReplyDeleteIf you like your free enterprise America...You can't keep it..period.
ReplyDeleteIf you like your privacy and no spying from Obama's administration....You can't keep it...period
If you like your Democracy of informed voters...You can't keep it....period.
If you a strong national defense...You can't keep it...Period.
He is ruining our country maybe beyond repair.
