Sorry . . . Given the level of violence on local streets and the danger of sending the wrong message to local police . . . This Dead Tree Media editorial isn't just wrong, it's dangerous:
Newspaper: Justice served in KC police beating case
Not even close . . . And in our previous discussion of the case it's clear that sentiment doesn't come close to representing local opinion regarding the incident wherein the officer didn't deserve jail time or losing his job for his work in apprehending a suspect.
Developing . . .
What a fucking joke America is now. This cop is going to jail while shit heel fucks all over the city run the streets, commit crime and our Politically Correct, Socialist overlords rule the world.
ReplyDeleteIf this cop was black, the public NEVER hears about this.
Just another example of how the KCPD brass abandons their officers.
ReplyDeleteJust another example of how the KCPD brass chooses sides. Carl was a white officer.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the sentence for the man the officer "beat"? Bet its less then the officer.
ReplyDeleteEditorial obviously written by Yael. His and the Star's chance to gloat. Butterface's chance to make points on her way to a judicial anointing by Sanders. Forte gets media time. Everybody wins...............except the officer.
ReplyDeleteAnother fucking disgrace. An uncooperative suspect elbows me in the mouth, it will be one of the last acts he performs on this earth. Scum like that, who have no regard for others or respect for the law, are no different than feral animals and deserve to be treated as such.
ReplyDeleteTony KC- comedy
ReplyDelete(cc) Tony denounces the KC Star, even though they are the source for most of his posts; Byron shows sensitivity toward blacks and gays.
I have no love for these thugs but you simply cannot allow a cop to beat a handcuffed prisoner.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you all listen to this fat ass. He does nothing but provoke you all.
ReplyDeleteJean will prosecute a cop but if the people only knew how many cases a day her and her prosecutors refuse to take on career criminals....
ReplyDeleteUnblemished record and medal of valor... that should be enough to cover one mistake... although I don't necessarily consider it a mistake under the circumstances.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the day where this was handled by the department; ie discipline or termination. Jail time now for an officer overreacting after taking a shot to the face? I wonder what any of those officials of "justice" would have done after taking a shot to the face from some street thug. Anyone that goes into law enforcement in this backwards country today is nuts. Go to school and get a 9-5 job, the public doesn't support law enforcement any longer.
ReplyDeleteWy do cops smack a suspect after getting punched? Bcause they know damn well that that is the only justice (or vengeance, come on you all know that's what justice is in this country) that will be served in a case like this. The record of Jackson County and KC municipal court on assault on law enforcement cases is a joke. Usually it is some bullshit probation where the suspect really doesn't have to do shit to satisfy the terms. The officer then gets to see the dirt bag hanging out at the corner every day with his gang. To Jean and the JACo court, it is now expected and demanded, due to this ruling, that suspects who assault LE will receive just punishment due for the act.
ReplyDeletehow much time did the mayor's son receive?
ReplyDeleteCops who beat hand cuffed suspects are cowards and criminals. Given that this officer had a gun, was in uniform, had a shield, had been trained he should have gone to prison for a long time where he could fight men on a level playing field.
ReplyDeleteIf you cry baby wannabe thug cops don't like it too bad!
If anyone deserved an ass beating it was those two cops in the video scratching their asses and screwing the pooch while an officer was trying to effect an arrest. If I had backup like that I'd take their ass out on the way to the big house.
ReplyDeleteSeriously the fat bastered of this "blog" is toying with kc cops. Don't fall into the trap. It's what he wants. Same story as the 22nd but this time through the star in the mix. His fat ass knows the police doesn't like Yeal. Don't fall into his trap…
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you fall into a spelling class.
ReplyDeletefuck yeal!
A misplaced word still makes you look like an ass cause you are a tkc sheep…
DeleteThe Officer was wrong for striking a handcuffed man.But hey the Jackson County Prosecutor was too heavy handed in sentencing the Officer to thirty days, plus 100 hours community service, plus firing him on top of it all. I told all my kids not to join the Police
ReplyDeleteForce unless you want to risk being shot, ran over, sued, and screwed. If you can deal with all the chaos like we've been dealing with in patrol without hitting a handcuffed man then were hiring and firing daily. The cop bashers talk big. When your in the Line Element for years cause you want to be. Be careful you are not overcome by Police Patrol Fatigue. The Line Element is the first on scene and when you swim your going to get wet. In the end there is very little mercy and no excuse for excessive force. We are with one less Officer that was a good Officer, but broke the rule and paid for it. God Bless Emergency Services Workers.
10:42 sounds like it was posted by none other than Randall "honeybun" Hundley. WOW, imagine if all the assaults he commited way back were like they are today. Oops, spoke too soon. I know the true answer.
ReplyDeleteWe get it. You don't like him. Let's take a moment and give you a "yeaaaa!" Now can we move on. JESUS…
DeleteCouldn't be Hundley. The grammar and spelling were too good.
DeleteOxymoron. Being a racist complaining about being a racist.
DeleteKCPD Command Staff hands the shaft to a real trooper. Be careful LE before the screw you.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing for KCPD officers is to look the other way and not get involved, that way you'll keep your job.
ReplyDeleteFor officers to be sheep dogs, you all are being sheep-like to this pointless "blog". Baaaaaaahhhhhh…
ReplyDeleteI wonder why there was not more made of the incident when former Sgt. Jackson Lyles committed robbery in uniform, and was allowed to stay on the job at KCPD. He was being investigated by the FBI for that incident, but was still on the street. Then the victim refused to cooperate, and it was dropped. But 'ol Jackson couldn't lay low even then. He decides to call a fellow officer an "Uncle Tom", and stated black officers could do anything they wanted now that they had a new chief (Forte). Even then he was not terminated. He was allowed to go on sick leave for weeks on end, and eventually resigned instead of being fired. Guess who he is good pals with. Anyone? Forte. Guess what color his skin is. Anyone? Guess the KC Star missed that whole episode. They wouldn't ignore it because he was black would they? No, they wait until the ever hated whitey messes up, then make a federal case of it. Awesome journalism in this city, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteThe same song. Same song. I'm sure through out kcpds history there were a lot of illegal things that we done by white officers. Let's not ignore American history. My point is your bland argument is as baseless as most racist complaints. Dude get a life and move on. Besides he's gone from the department. Let it go.
DeleteLyle was a fuckstick. Hell he lied on his application to the hospital he applied to. He also couldn't pass a spelling and reading test for the Kansas City School district armed security. Tell me whats wrong with that picture. What comes around goes around for that so called wanna be cop "hundley"
ReplyDelete@1015.....WOW! YOUR GRAMMAR SUCKS "DUDE"......
ReplyDeleteI know what you're sayin 10:15.it's like I'm always trying to tell black folk the same thing ..just let it go man, that shit is tired.."blah blah blah racism blah blah..cause im black blah blah"
ReplyDeleteSo,I feel ya "dude"
I forgot, I'm talking to a bunch of oppressed white males of KCPD. I'm sorry to not understand your struggle.
