  1. Let me guess Pat Klein got huge overtime pay and he is a salary employee?

  2. All while the City Council is out partying, traveling, and finding other "creative" way's to goof off at the tax payers expense.

  3. Do council members get paid overtime to post on their Facebook pages and tweet?

  4. This is the same city who just months ago was cutting jobs to save money? BULLSHIT!

  5. Concepts of management, oversight, accountability, and results left the building at 12th and Oak years ago.
And when the folks who work there see how much money is pouring out the door with Sly and the gang, everybody is just trying to get their fair share.
Anyone for local control of the KCPD?

  6. This reporter from the KCBJ is really doing investigative reporting. Bully!

  7. I got 2016 as the year that Tony posts the next positive blog entry.

Everything after that year was already taken.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  8. The very first thing you learn is "Management 101", is how to deal with over time. Jesus, what a bunch of stupid fucks, that couldn't figure that out..

  9. 450 - doing more investigating than you are.

  10. Maybe Sly needs to get focused on controlling cost rather wasting all his time on the streetcar.

  11. I am not doing any investigating. I deliver parcels for fed ex.

  12. Notice there is overtime listed for the KCPD?

  13. The report said that 86 percent of all overtime was attributed to the Kansas City Fire Department, =>>Water Services Department <<=
    Aviation Department and
    =>>Public Works Department.<<=

Water Services Contract for more than $13Mil - No bidding

Public Works Department for East Patrol.

Aviation Department for unnecessary KCI nonsense.

That means Pat Klein and the rest of the idiots in Public Works siphoned millions of dollars. No wonder this asswipe walks around in sunglasses. There's not an honest bone in his body. What a fuck-up.

A City that works on being as low class as possible.

  14. So do you think the employees who deal with broken water mains and other emergencies work for free? Idiots.

  15. Seems like I do remember a lot of overtime for City employees clearing the streets during the heavy snow and ice last winter.

  16. Given there is a broken water main every single day, I believe it.

  17. It's easy to spend money when it's not your money you're spending.

  18. They cut off the Blue Cross health incentive cards. What do you expect!

  19. 6:30 is Pat from Public Works. Hes probably billing for ot right now.

  20. Wow, that's 150 new police officers or the KC Museum renovations right there.

  21. Remember Smokey saying they would run the ambulance service for less? BS liar telling the City what they wanted to hear.

Now Chief Paulie "Walnuts" Berardi is continuing to spend like Smokey did. Rules don't apply to the Fire Department and Local 42.

I guess that's ok since Mayor Sly "Slick" James and Councilman John "Notso" Sharp is owned by them.
