A TOUCHDOWN DANCE FOR MAYOR SLY'S PIZZA AND DANCE PARTY IS KINDA OF PREMATURE CONSIDERING VIOLENT TEEN FLASH MOBS PLAGUED THE PLAZA THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER!!!
Let's not forget that these payoff parties to keep teens from flash mobbing culminated in a riot at Union Station at the conclusion of the Summer.
In fact . . . Less than two weeks ago police were forced to use pepper spray on the teen crowds gathered on the Plaza . . . So how is it that this program is a "success" according to City Hall?
Sadly, this tactic of declaring victory over Kansas City's ongoing problems seems to be the defining characteristic of Mayor Sly's Administration.

ReplyDeleteThe KCMO city council's idea of success is that they find some nonprofit agency, out of town program, or community activist organization they think they can delegate their responsibilities away to, throw lots of money at them, and have it all disappear withour any regard to results or accountability.
