ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter how they reporting the shooting. One thing remains clear. If you cross Troost, your chances of getting hurt in a gun accident worsen. That's just a fact and if the leaders in KCMO and across the city don't want to recognize it then they will continue to suffer the consequences of a declining tax base. Come to terms with it and address the situation as an economic concern and change the tone of the discussion to get out of this never ending "cycle of violence" blather and finally start dealing with the real issue: Jobs.

I have a one hell of a lot of friends and at a function a while back we tried to see if a single one of any of our families ever owned slaves. Guess what not a one could say that was true. In fact the number of people who owned slaves was a minority. One thing the 1% memes popularity has overshadowed is what I believe to be another important statistic for people interested in discussing the problem of violence in black communities across america during the recession. Only 10% of blacks live in neighborhoods where less than 40% of their neighbors live in poverty. so forget about celebrities, only 10% of black children grow up in communities that most white children take for granted. Even if whoever raises you has it together, theres a good chance a whole lot of people at school and around the neighborhood dont at all. Theres no way that should be considered an equal oppurtunity for success in america. most white people cant grasp what starting from the bottom even means in their own cities on economic and educational terms. scumbag racists rot in hell.
