ReplyDeleteWe all know how this is going to ens if Missouri passes the nullification law. The Supreme Court has almost never sided with the States on these gun issues except in cases of some restrictions. However, Missouri is not the only state that spends millions related to administrative gun law compliance and the states are basically sick of it. Unfortunately for Uncle Sam, rather than states restricting gun ownership, for the most part states have acted to insure a non-criminal's right to gun ownership. Unfortunately in many states even some police officers with minor to petty offenses as juveniles have lost their jobs because of this constant redefining of what a gun owner ought to be, while the phychos and wackos are free to get a gun anytime. It seems to me the states are tired of nit-picking by the ATF (so apparently rights it's own gun laws), the feds pressuring states for private gun owner data, enforcing federal laws at their own expense and even the fed going one step further and assimilating cases using state law, but their own interpretations, even if it disagrees with state courts and attorneys general.

“Gun culture” is an imaginary media construct, designed to link law-abiding homeowners and hunters with big-city gang-bangers and random lunatics. Gang culture, on the other hand, is very real, extremely dangerous, and tends to be flavored with hard-core racism. The fact that it’s often racism emanating from minority groups, directed at whites (and other minority groups), makes it impossible for liberal culture and professional race-baiters to discuss. This also keeps the general public from understanding how widespread it is, particularly if they don’t live in areas where gang violence is a fact of daily life.
Black on white crime is ubuquitous and incessant and more and more people are aware of it, in spite of the efforts of the MSM to keep it quiet.
