TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! RANK & FILE WORKERS EXPRESS RENEWED JACKSON COUNTY SALARY OUTRAGE!!!

Salaries for the "executive class" working in Jackson County have long been a touchy subject . . . This year, property tax hot mess and the controversial hiring of cheerleader politico Cathy Jolly at the Courthouse has sparked more grumbling from workers.

Moreover . . .

WORKERS AT THE COUNTY ARE NOW STARTING TO OPENLY GRUMBLE OVER EXECUTIVE DECISIONS REGARDING TOP RANKING JACKSON COUNTY SALARIES!!!

Remember that the County Executive promised conditions for workers would improve following cutbacks and staffing realignment.

And now . . .

INSIDERS @ THE COURTHOUSE RAGE OVER RUMORED SALARY INCREASES FOR EXECUTIVE STAFF!!!

Here's on quote that pretty much sums up the current angst . . .

"Hmmmmm....thought you might like that employees at Jackson County are pissed. The incompetents in the administration have decided to split the remainder of (recently retired Chief Admin) Fred Siems salary amongst themselves. Once again THE CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICE demonstrates her cluelessness and incompetence. The administration gives its lesser minions a nice fat raise....but nothing for the other employees. When is the media going to stop falling all over themselves when it comes to Sanders?"

Developing . . .

  5. Those lazy retards have had 3% raises for the LAST FOUR years! Get a real job, and quit sucking of my tax dollars. I havn't had a raise at my office in 7 years! Fuck off lazy parasites and join the real world.

  6. Aren't there rules regarding amount/sizes of raises our elected officials can "hand" out? Somebody please look at this.
    This just keeps getting worse!

  7. Why hasn't th press covered the story? Hmmmm. Probably because it is fabricated, and you are a lazy overpaid troll who has nothing better to do than steal my tax dollars while sitting in your cubicle and complaining about a job 90% of Jackson Countians would kill someone to have. I see that you have had a raise every year for the last several years as well. Give me a break on the whining!

Like most my private sector brothers and sisters, I also have not had a raise in 6 years, saw 1/3of my unit laid off and now I am expected to work nights and weekends for the same pay to do their jobs. Sad part? I have it lucky IMO. I have a job and was not asked to take a 20-40% pay cut to keep it like everyone else in my office. So, you want to complain that you have it tough. Cry me a fucking river. I will swap jobs with you tomorrow you lazy ungrateful asshat of whom I pay your salary!

  8. Bottom line...MIKE SANDERS IS A FUCKING ASSHOLE.
    thank you.

  9. If you work in the private sector and have not had a raise for that many years....maybe you should get another job and stop whining. We do live in a free market society.

  10. I call bullshit. If this story were true, it would violate a variety of federal and state laws regarding compensation in a government office. I think politicians have actually been prosecuted for doing this with budgets before. No way Sanders did something this squirrely.

There's nothing illegal about raising executive salary when lower workers suffer. Happens every day in corporate America and in government.

    Welcome to the USA!

Calvin did it. Mike is not in the office enough to know what Calvin does. The legislature is a collection of wing-nuts who have long since ceased to care.

  13. Jeoff Buroughs-Scanlon sure needed a raise, because the drug addict works so hard sucking Calvin off.

  14. @7:53 - I agree, kind of. There are no federal or state laws governing county government compensation (that I know of) but there are county rules/code which govern. If this is true, any reporter could discover - maybe someone should at least make an inquiry as @6:48 points out. I believe a sunshine request for all salary increases during a 6 year span - in a specific division - would tell the picture. At a minimum, we deserve to know what our elected officials have been doing with their own staff. Just my 2 cents.

  15. The money quote is "when is the media going to stop falling all over themselves when it comes to Sanders"? Everyone knows that Sanders bought off the Star before his first day in office (see Deann Smith reassignment) and the fact that he has received a pass on every other f up that has happened under his watch. Hopefully the latest incompetence on the property values will wake someone up (that's you media). When you're over your head, eventually you drown. Sounds like he should have been paying attention to his job. There are absolutely no excuses for incorrect values!!

  16. Like the dumb asses of Jackson County will even make a phone call to stop this......
