TKC TIPSTERS CONFIRMED!!! JACKSON COUNTY CATHY JOLLY INTRODUCTION TODAY AND EXCLUSIVE EXPLANATION OF HER SALARY DEAL!!!

Just a few moments ago The Star followed up TKC Blog Community news from LAST Week by reporting Cathy Jolly now working for Jackson County.

Jolly joins Sanders team

Sadly, no public comment is allowed.

Even worse, they didn't mention the PARKING LOT HOT MESS that created a stir given that everybody had to clear the way for connected lady politico.

Accordingly, we think that Kansas City's favorite political cutie deserves far more consideration.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS HAVE SENT EXCLUSIVE EXPLANATION OF THE DEAL THAT BROUGHT CATHY JOLLY TO THE COUNTY FOR A DISCOUNT PRICE!!!

As usual, Mike "Please Don't Fire Me, It's Expensive To Live In JoCo" Hendricks doesn't even offer half the story.

But credit where it's due, he did provide this one detail we had to sit on til just now . . .

Cathy Jolly is going to be taking down a paltry $45K for her work at the County.

Her schedule is going to be flexible at The County, around 21 hours, but she's not getting the sweetheart deal that a few financial hawks feared.

AND NOW THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY INSIDER DETAIL . . . Jackson County Administrative Officer Fred Siems is going to be curtailing his job duties and taking a trim in pay that corresponds with the Cathy Jolly hire.

Remember that Siems was part of a ruckus last year over salaries in the County Executive's Office.

So, with Siems scaling back and bringing Ms. Jolly into the fold . . . Insiders and supporters of County Exec Sanders are claiming a savings to the County of around $10-15K with an added benefit that both of these workaholics probably offer a lot more benefit to the County off the clock and by way of their extensive connections.

UPDATE: Still some insiders claim that The County Executive's budget it such an "abyss" that keeping track of salaries is nearly impossible . . . Again, look at Siems' job description and notice that his job duties include Assessment, Collection, Finance & Purchasing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Recorder Of Deeds . . . All of which reveal that cash to pay him could come from anywhere.

More Cathy Jolly Justification . . . Let's remember that she's a top voter getter in Kansas City, she has connections throughout the statewide level AND she's literally in bed with the City Council - Her hubby 6th District dude Scott Taylor. So it's not hard to argue her qualifications.

Still . . . There are still critics of this move who make valid points.

Will Cathy Jolly get along with Jackson County Legislator Crystal Williams?

Crystal should play nice IF she expects anyone to take her "girl power" shtick seriously. Then again, Crystal is reportedly lashing out at everybody for her ELECTION FAIL last year - Despite the fact that she was running against this blog and not her opponent.

Certainly, these insider moves don't make most average taxpayers happy but there seems to be a method to the madness at the Courthouse right now as people the next level up talk about Jackson County Executive (and re-elected MO Democratic Party Chairman) Mike Sanders and his consideration for the Gov. Lite job..

DEVELOPING . . .

Comments

  1. But what's she actually going to do for the taxpayers? That's the big question TKC and it largely remains unanswered despite your insider details.

  6. Only the govt could offer 45K for 21 hrs flexible a week. With full benefits I suppose? Maybe a car? For what?

    Mr. Tony,

Good God Almighty! Most rank and file workers clear less than 45k per year, IF they are lucky. Most get 28- 32K for FULL TIME REAL WORK. None of the drones even think of getting a free car. what the hell is going on over at the county? Miss Jolly should be ashamed to engineer such a deal. She is taking away from real workers.

  10. Jolly is not a power broker TKC, she is a woman who goes along with corruption.

  12. 21 hours a week, Full-time benefits, a car and a iron clad schedule that allows her to take time to take her kiddie to school and be home to pick him up. Oh yeah, that is the kind of work rules most of us have to comply with. Sure!

    More Fail From Kansas City

Sounds like Jolly wanted some easy extra cash and sucked her way into a job where she will do as she pleases (which she has always done)and I doubt she even works 21 hours a week.

Byron STFU it's none of your concern.

  14. She has to see Divorce Court in the morning and get home in time for Dr. Oz or she gets cranky1/28/13, 6:57 PM

How the hell can Cathy look her coworkers in the eye when she makes so much more an hour in compensation, has no responsibility and gets to sleep in before going home for a mid-afternoon siesta?

    Well DUH!

Why wouldn't a LAWYER want to see Divorce Court? I bet you are not even even a lawyer! You probably do not even "get" the strategy of the whole show or anything.

  16. A friend of Cathy Jolly (not Cathy)1/28/13, 7:08 PM

I am sure that 7:01 PM was not Cathy Jolly and I am not Cathy Jolly either. Cathy is really smart though and I am sure that she will make a great County Executive soon. Well not real soon just someday soon. You know, its not like the fix is in or anything like that. Just in good time. Well not really good time like it was a Dr. Oz weekend marathon or something just not in a short time but not in a real long time.

  17. Help me out peeps. Does anyone remember where you can go on the internet and look up people who work for jackson county that shows the income they make? I know the almighty Star used to have a link to gov't salaries. Thanks!

  18. I figure its somewhere on the Missouri Sec. of State's web page because that office publishes the Blue Book -- which carries such information.

  19. For her work at the County?

    Please define?

  20. She was the top vote getter when she ran against a guy whose only claim to fame was writing a history of Liberty Memorial. WOW Impressive!

  21. Jolly's just another good looking cunt, who's sells her appearance to the highest bidder. There are lots of them out there, winking and blinking and smiling their way to the paycheck. Used to call them whores...

  22. More grifting from the County. When Sanders was elected I naively thought things might change. It is obvious he is just another in a long line unethical leaders in Jackson County.

  23. I have never really liked Kathy Jolly. She's smarat enough but not really very intellectual What I can't stand is her snarky attitude toward EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING.
SHE'S NO DUMMY BUT SHE'S NOT AS SMART AS SHE THINKS SHE IS. Her husband seems nice and I think he is smarter than she. I wonder how long he will continue to play second fiddle?
