@KUBoobs Ordered To Shut Down

One again the University of Kansas offers another small-timer a lesson in copyright law and corporate bullying. Then again, it's hard to buy the cleavage breast cancer awareness play of these Internets entrepreneurs.

For now . . . The site is trying to garner all of the Twitter followers that they can @KUBoobs . . . There's even a protest movement: #SaveKUBoobs

And given the current job market that hasn't improved as much as we'd all like to think . . . College Coeds showing off their cleavage might be the quickest way toward career advancement despite trademark claims.

  3. They don't have to shut down their Twitter account. they have to stop selling gear that violates KU's copyrights on images. Just like that t-shirt shop in Lawrence.

    Believe it or not, @KUBoobs started the @Boob Twitter movement. Other schools started seeing @KUBoobs postings and started their own. One funny thing that has occurred many times is that whoever was running the @MUBoobs account was swiping pics from the @KUBoob account and photoshopping MU images over the KU ones.

    If you're on Twitter and you like women's boobs you should follow @KUBoobs. There is some very nice boobage in KU gear going on. Their rules are, anyone can submit a photo, but it must have either KU or a Jayhawk in the pic. No nudity. Basically chicks with nice racks wearing tight KU shirts. Most of the time. Sometimes, it's a chick with a nice rack in a bra wearing a Jayhawk necklace.

    You can't stop someone for posting pics of people wearing a school's licensed gear. You just can't sell gear with someone else's copyrighted images without permission.

    It's quite simple.
