Sadly, despite so many promises from politicos and cheerleaders . . . The Toy Train Streetcar won't make commuting any safer in Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteCommuting safer? No question that toy train tracks pose serious danger to bicyclist. The Arizona Daily Star’s transportation reporter writes that a woman who crashed her bike on streetcar tracks has filed a $3 million claim against City and transportation authority.
ReplyDeleteDrive along Troost, Paseo or Prospect any time of day and you will see people waiting for the bus jumping out into the street looking for the bus. Also, if you drive on Wornall Rd in front of SW High school those kids jump out right in front of cars just for fun.

ReplyDeleteDark clothes, dark skin, dark street. Middle of road. Homeless don't usually have ID, either.
