Kansas City is once again going to throw money at a problem and hope that solves everything.

NOBODY WANTS TO SAY IT . . . BUT ISN'T SPENDING CASH TO PREVENT KANSAS CITY COUNTRY CLUB FLASH MOBS KINDA LIKE THIS TOWN'S PUBLIC SAFETY BEING HELD RANSOM!?!?
However, everybody likes youth programs so it's all for a good cause.
Nevertheless, it's worth noting that this town has already put a great deal of time, money and effort into youth program spending that hasn't seemed to work to prevent violent flash mobs so far.
Even worse . . . None of this cash seems to address the root cause of this problem: Parents unable to control their kids.

On that same RUCKUS program mentioned earlier, Yael Abdullakah said outloud, yes, outloud and on TV, that the flash mobs on the Plaza were not a big deal and would not affect business and shoppers there.
I swear on my eyesight the dumbfuck said that outloud.
Maybe it the mayor was actually assassinated with his whole family in front of the Cheesecake Factory, then, and only then, when there are actual bodies of public officials and thier families laying in the gutter with the smell of cordite in the air, shoppers slipping in the blood on the way from their cars, the sound of Rap music blaring with a metronomic jungle nack beat, THEN, Yael, might mention that a problem just MIGHT exist.

ReplyDeleteI really hate that they're trying to call it a "flash mob." My definition of a flash mob is people who get together and suddenly start performing a choreographed dance for about 2 or 3 minutes and then suddenly stop and go about their lives. I looked it up and there is a second definition with negative connotations, but I really would liked to see the first.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the problem itself, I always find it amazing how many people gripe and whine about someone's solution to a problem when they can't come up with anything themselves. Teenagers don't want to be at home with their parents on a Friday or Saturday night. Providing a basketball game for them to play in does help, particularly if their non-basketball playing friends go along to observe. Get some big names (i.e. KU or MU players) in every once in a while and you might get even more participation.) While it might not increase their IQ, it might end up getting some of them a scholarship.
We need to get the NBA involved. Niggers Back to Africa.

ReplyDeleteI hope Sly has read about the shooting at the community center in KCK before he throws any more money at kids who could care less. Instead of basketball why not a open a few shooting ranges and teach the little fuckers how to shoot straight. Then instead of having to spray bullets randomly and hitting everything but their intended victim they can become more efficient killers thus reducing the thug population faster. Its a win win idea. It reduces the thug population, saves taxpayers from footing the bill for long term housing, hospital services, fixing holes in their houses etc. No more innocent 3 year old drive by victims. The benefits just go on and on.
ReplyDeleteHere is how we handle it. We get cops to donate their time to guard The Plaza. How do we do that you ask? We just arm them with paintball guns and an unlimited supply of paint balls and order them to shoot if it appears to be in the wrong place and causing issues. Simple solution you see because ain't no cop going to turn down a gig like that even if they do have to donate the time. Getting hit about a hundred times and you will be glad to stay in your own neighborhood. Oh and use white paintballs, that will really piss them off when their homies start calling them whitey.
