TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KCPD CRISIS!!! TKC TIPSTER: FOUR VETERAN COPS GONE FROM KCPD THIS WEEK!!!

On this 4th of July we recognize that KCPD protects our life an liberty on local streets. So, the inner-workings of this organization remain important to all residents.

To wit . . .

TKC TIPSTERS NOTE TRAGIC WEEK FOR THE KCPD AND THE LOSS OF VETERAN OFFICERS!!!

We've edited this important message to protect family and await a few more e-mails we have out there . . . Still the argument remains the same . . . This week has been exceptionally tragic for the KCPD and their ongoing efforts to build a better relationship with the community.

Check it:

"Besides Officer Holmes and Sgt. Stinson, word is that a 27+ year detective is retiring amidst allegations that he went to Florida on vacation and DROVE HIS POLICE VEHICLE while pulling a trailer containing his motorcycle

"And- this evening, #### Patrol Division Watch Commander Captain ######### was found dead in the woods near his home. No word on the cause of death, whether suicide or natural causes.

Again, only Tuesday and four veteran cops are gone....."
######

Meanwhile . . . We continue to hear about problems regarding morale and ongoing debate between the rank & file and the Police Board. We hope to have more reporting on this subject soon but it's worth noting that this Kansas City organization faces increasing turmoil as we move further into the Summer.

DEVELOPING . . .

Comments

  1. Are the walls of the great (well in their minds) KCPD about to come tumbling down?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Actually there isn't any debate, discussion, understanding of, appreciateion for, or any other kind of relationship between the rank and file and the police board. They live in two completely different worlds, which is why many officers are leaving and many more are joining the union, a sure sign of management neglect and incompetence.
The police board mostly talks among themselves and others in big offices while the regular officers bust their butts every day running from call to call without either the council, mayor, or police board doing much of anything to make their jobs more effective or safer.
And it starts at the top; public safety is not a high priority for KCMO city government.
    A city that works.
    Just not for you.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Bad cops are leaving. Chief told us within five yrs.,they would be gone. KCPD has several more too go.

    ReplyDelete
  4. KCPD is a shitty place to work. You would have to fire 75 percent of the department to get rid of all the "Bad Cops".

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Then fire away. Ton of good men & women ready to take their place.

      Delete
    2. Where the fuck are they then?

      Delete
  5. Where is the BOPC's ?????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  6. For YEARS. People have talked about the abuse of take home police cars, cops vacationing at the taxpayers expense. And don't forget the abuse of off duty jobs, or the commanders who don't even show up for work..... or how about the cops who pick up a city paycheck while at another job? The Double dippers? The list goes on and on and on.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Sounds like cop work draws a lot of shitty people. Less cop loyalty among the ranks, less tolerance for bad cops, and the good cops would be held in higher esteem. They never seem to get that, so they look the other way, thinking they have to, to survive.

Kinda like citizens who don't snitch. It's their culture. Yup, fire away!

    ReplyDelete
  8. The no snitch policy is MORE "alive" at KCPD than in the criminal community. But of course there's more criminal activity at KCPD than on the streets.

Some thug may steal a 6 dollar six pack of beer while the thugs at KCPD steal thousands.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It is not a 'tragic' when shitbums get weeded from the ranks, you melodramatic bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  10. KCPD has been a poor place to work for years the "good" people are far out numbered by the corrupt. Most of the corrupt are now command staff and have taken their ruthless corrupt ways with them. There is no way the culture at KCPD will change with these corrupt commanders. If you pick up a snake by the tail it will only turn around and bite you. You have to cut off the head.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It's all so funny. Change kc to keystone.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Where is the Board of Police Commissioners? What's the point of having these useless fucks. The BOPC is like having the blind lead the blind. The BOPC is the most worthless commission in Kansas City. All of this is going on right under their noses. I, for real, wrote a letter to the Missouri governor about how useless the BOPC and I work for KCPD.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department is a lost cause, I teach CJ at a University and have been teaching there since the late 70's and I tell my students to steer clear of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. 40 years of experience and I want to tell my students where the good jobs are.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I can tell you as a member of this organization I am so embarrassed about how it is being run. It has been and continues to run with total disregard for fiscal responsibility. Take home cars are nothing more than a perk. There are over 200 take home cars on the department and our department drives over a million miles a month. Many of those miles are spent driving back and forth to officer's, of all ranks, houses. The patrol fleet is in shambles and continues to go down hill as commanders new take home cars take priority.

Chief "The Savior" Forte' has been the supposed leader for coming up on a year. He has not visited patrol one time. As the "leader", and I use that term loosely, when is it acceptable to neglect your front line element?

We should spend some time correcting the problems within our department before we try to work on others problems. I have a specific reason of why I am staying with this department, for those who are going to say quit, for a specific reason, but it is not in my future career path. Our department would be very easy to change, but they all love to spend money instead of being responsible.

The three that are no longer on the department because of criminal allegations, screw off. You deserve to be on the front page of the news. You fucking worthless pieces of shit make us all look bad.

  15. KCPD fires the good people and keeps the bad. The good people tried to make changes that would make kcpd a great place to work. But the corrupt did not want honest employees so they were fired.

    ReplyDelete
  16. KCPD has so many worthless pieces of shit you'd have to take out a special edition of the KC Star to hold all their names.

  17. Miss Sweetie Pie7/4/12, 8:58 AM

    Mr. Tony,
It is indeed a sad day to see the KCPD tarnished again.
Yes, as a gardener I am guilty of weeding out undesirable plants. But we are speaking of human lives and their dependants. The folly of the officers cannot be tolerated but neither should it be used as an unwieldy pole to poke the many fine women and men who police our city.
No, sir, I cannot rejoice in this current crop of misdeeds, I only pray that officers who may be committing similar lapses in honor STOP now. Mr. or Ms. Cop, Please do not think that you are the one officer too smart to fail.

As for the Board of Police Commissioners... what a bunch of worthless scrub. If only the members of the Missouri State Senate and State Representatives would stop masturbating to the rhythm of the Tea Party and actually legislate. We could then ask them to abolish the antiquated BOPC. The buffoonery of this group is at an all time low level. The best among them is the little girl who accompanies her mother to the meetings causing disruption. But then again not much was going on anyway.

  18. wonder if they are white and not protected by the gang of 8

    ReplyDelete
  19. This is a rough time we're going through right now with community relations. But I can tell you this, in my 10 years on the dept, with the exception of two officers that were thrown under the bus by our former chief because of a lady who lied about a miscarriage, every single person I've seen fired in the past decade were officers that deserved it. Regardless of what you might think, the dept actually does a good job of weeding out MOST of the bad apples. Its just a shame that these individuals cause us all to be painted with a broad brush of mistrust by the general public.

    ReplyDelete
  20. All of Kansas City, MO is in crisis, except the white affluent areas and even they are starting to show signs of deterioration. Kansas City government & Public Safety needs to enroll in the MARC Leadership Training so that they can know how to respect the institution of the American Dream. There, they will find all of their answers on how to effectively police, engage the public and cast a positive image. Until both groups realize the enormity of the problem and that it's a people issue; not a policy issue; then this City can't begin to heal itself. Sadly, it doesn't appear they are willing to dig deep and do the work. As a result, the City & KCPD continue to take mindless stabs in the dark and make up situations that do not exist to demonstrate their ineffectiveness. Exercising truth and skill is how we combat these problems. This City continues to spin its wheels with morally bankrupt leadership at the realm. SOS is correct. Kansas City, MO is a City that works; just not for it's people. This City is hosting an "All Star" game with a Third World mentality; and hoping for the best. How did that happen?

You must be a rookie cop Because after 30 years on the department before I retire. KCPD is a corrupt police department. They will stop at nothing to protect a undeserved image. People like you keep the corruption going.

  22. 7/4/12 9:11 AM Corwin was the biggest dirt bag police chief KCPD has seen in years.
The first thing that ass hole did was give him self a 15,000 dollar pay raise,

    ReplyDelete
  23. 9:33,

Don't get me wrong, I know there's corruption at the top (I think most of us could name off the list of the usual suspects). I'm talking about most of the officers and sergeants in general are hardworking, good individuals. If you're actually 30 years retired from the dept then you would know that.

  24. I heard the Feds are looking at possible charges against the Detective that drove to Florida with his family. Any one else heard about this?

As far as the Captain, he was a good dude when I worked with him when he was a Sgt. Never worked for him as a Capt. Prayers go out to him and his family!

  26. MARC Leadership Training?! Please. Waste.of.Time.

  27. The current police board is truly a sad motley bunch who could give two shits about the men and women on the department. Come on. Mcinerny, a bleeding heart fake Catholic who interned for Chappaquiddik Ted Kennedy and brags about it? Mcinerny does nothing but apologize for his whiteness. He is horrible. Then you have the sawed off lesbian professional fundraiser who brings her child to meetings. yeah, a lesbian with a kid. Then you have tall skinny whiney bitch who can't make a decision for herself but drools all over anything mcinerny says just like the lesbian does. Who is left, Brooks. He could give a shit about the department or it's men and women. All he cares about is how many blacks are hired or promoted or how many blacks are building the new police stations or how many blacks are teaching class at the academy or how many blacks are doing anything department related. Brooks is like a broken fucking record. During a board meeting if you took a shot every time Brooks asks how many people of color are working on something or asks what the diversity of something is, you would be too drunk to walk out of the meeting. All Brooks does is blame the white man for the failings of the black community. Last is the worthless mayor. He's just lining his pockets while listening to himself spout of bunch of worthless b.s. He never says anything but talks more than anyone.
Thank these liberal shills for putting forte in as chief. A fucking monkey could lead better. All forte does is hide in his office with the door closed and then orders his commanders to try and fulfill the cockamamie projects and plans that he finds on the internet. All at the expense of the decent men and women who haven’t run away from department. Why anyone would want to work for a bunch of pricks like the board and forte and his butt buddy commanders I’ll never know.

  28. From what I hear federal charges are doubtful, there are too many rumors flying around as to whats going to happen to him at this point. the whole thing only came to light about a week ago. since it has though he has been removed from his position and basically been assigned desk duty till they decide what to do with him. Personally I am sick and tired of of hearing about bad police officers. every time you turn around there is a new KCPD dirt bag on the news. Ive been with the PD for over 10 years, it can be a great place to work, lately it is getting embarrassing to admit I work for this organization. For what its worth, I have had the pleasure of working around countless good cops, and only encountered a handful of bad apples. Of the ones I have been around their "bad" issues havent revolved around corruption, mostly just not good at being a cop. I have seen several officers fired, most of which have deserved it and good reddens to them!!! There are several more that need to go hopefully someone will get that ball rolling, although at this point I am loosing faith that they will ever be dealt with. The sad fact is until they are all out, the PD will never be able to be fixed. Leadership starts at the top, right now we dont have effective leadership that is respected or gives respect. This chief has already been seen saying to one of its officers "I dont want or need your respect" Those words should never come out of the mouth of a leader. No one is saying that he needs to go around begging for anyones respect however your actions as a leader should garner the respect of your employees. If your making the right decisions while taking into considerations your employees, the city, and the citizens you would earn it. However this chief up to this point has solely appeared to be a puppet for the city and has no concern for its citizens or its employees.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Agree 11:37AM. Forte is a puppet for Mayor & Brooks. It's too bad that they only have a point to make. Let shove as many Black people through the door without examining motive to be there. You can't run a "for profit" business that way and you certainly can run a City that way. It seems they're looking for quantity rather than quality. I am completely overwhelmed by the fact that Stinson has been juicing his mother over the course of the last 4 years. Further outraged by the fact that his mother was evicted from a nursing home and left with a $21K bill after losing everything. He walked around the East Patrol Project like his shit didn't stink and here he is stinking up all of Kansas City.

Persons who are critical of someone else and play God or Jesus Christ are setting themselves up to "fall from grace." Be very careful and take a look in your MIRROR. You may not like what you see! Again, Beware of destroying others. Let them self destruct. Our punishment might be lurking in or outside our homes because of constant judgment of others.

  40. The department won't get any better until Forte, Hundley, El, Harvey, are fired. That won't happen, so we have to wait 5 more years. Meanwhile I've heard there are currently 9 black recruits in the academy that either have been on probation or are currently on probation. Ranging from cocaine use, to driving issues. This is the face of your new KCPD people, when we lower our standards it doesn't fix the vicious cycle of corrupt officers. This is the new gang of 8, and we will all be working for them in 10 years. If you don't believe the rumor, ask around.

  55. The black peoples are mentored by the upper level command staff through the entire hiring process. The initial written test is at a 10th grade level (Very True). I'm sure they are supplied the answers to this laughable test. Upon graduation, they get their mentors direct office number and cell phone, along with a home number if they are truly part of the "gang".

  56. If you are a KCPD officer using this blog to share info about the organization that pays your ass. Do all of us a favor and quit. While you spend time hiding behind your computer or phone, we are out here busting our ass to do your job.

  57. Last I checked I work as well. If the department is too lazy to air its laundry, it needs to be aired out for them. Maybe an investigation into the corruption of this department would do some good. Or maybe a lawsuit for reverse discrimination would do some good, oh wait that's already happening. Wake up, KCPD is broken at the top, which means it's broken all the way around. We are not run by someone who has a moral compass, we are run by someone who has a racial bias. History has shown that, and Karma is a bitch. The assholes at the top will get thiers eventually.

Imagine the wasteful money the city has done over the years and they multiply by 1,000+ times for the feds.

I would rather take my money and one at a dollar at a time create a paper airplane and toss it into the Missouri river. I would get just as much results with my money-nothing..
