Latina token and columnist Mary Sanchez must have slouched her shoulders as she approached her desk in the basement of The Kansas City Star and began to write another in a long series of immigration opinions.
I'm assuming that regular columns containing Dirty Mary's milquetoast, contradictory and mostly misinformed opinions on immigration are part of her contract.
Her latest middle-of-the-road opus is just as underwhelming as anything else she has ever written . . .
Obama's immigration stance is a good start, but it's not enough
If Dirty Mary had an ounce of courage she might take all of the Latino haters to task or maybe even criticize the Prez for a cynical ploy that doesn't really provide any new protections for this nations most vulnerable residents . . . Instead she attempts to keep everybody happy and offers another mundane viewpoint that's only discernible to the d-bags occupying the Editorial Board of a dying institution.
Fact is . . . Prez Obama's edict doesn't change much and REALISTS understand that the law of supply and demand (i.e. economics) dictate border crossings far more than any politico.
Still . . . In a typically horrible opinion on a subject that obviously doesn't inspire her, Mary Sanchez fulfills her role as Kansas City's Dead Tree Media token Latina.
We all expected more of Obama, but can we lower our expectations enough to justify voting for Romney?

Because of the drug war, not all of the refugees are economic. We are morally obligated to help those who are trying to escape the drug terrorists. They routinely kill people who go to drug treatment centers, because they want to insure a high demand.
These terrorists are the enemies of civilization. This is not Mexico's problem, its the world's problem. Their very existence should not be tolerated. They must be killed.
