Council Lady "full frontal" from the mountain top i.e. The Greater KC Chamber . . .

  1. Pretty interesting actually.

Chutzpah, Cindy is thy name. She gives a shout out to Mayor Barnes, while holding the Wall Street Journal article IN HER HAND which features the commentary on the P&L District.

    Nice spin!

  2. She must watch some of her own video--Jesus God, quit saying Umm!

Training and leadership classes and consulting for future leaders.

    Eh....?

    She seems bright and focused.

    Not bad at all.

  3. She likes Tony's Toy Train.

"We need to keep the (sic) eye on the bigger picture".

Not on Tony's team here at all.

She says that every place she went, there were economic benefits to the Toy Train.

    ?

She also mentioned that the P&L is a vibrant part of the city and she loves to go there and see all the people.

    What can I tell ya?

She has gotta stop sayin Ummm.

    I can't take it.

  4. All the people who lost their jobs and services that have been cut to pay for P&L thank Mayor Barnes too. Ummm, not!

That's not to say that downtown doesn't look better and the district has much to offer but it came at a cost and the trade off was citizens got less service and the party goers got more for their money. At a time when people are making decisions about where and how to live in the new economy, I think this puts KCMO at a disadvantage. It was supposed to pay foritself and generate revenue. It has not and may never produce the promised results.

  5. "I [Cindy Circo] would take today's downtown over the one from 10 or 15 years ago.... even with the debt we are servicing now..." Cindy Circo

That is easy to say when YOU AREN'T THE ONE SERVICING THE DEBT.

The taxpayers are paying for this folly, Cindy. And the fact that you are celebrating a money-vacuum that is sending millions of dollars out of the city and into Baltimore, MD is a DISGRACE AND DISGUSTING,

FAIL FAIL FAIL CINDY. Own up already.

  6. Remember, if you don't acknowledge the failure it never happened.

Thanks Kay Barnes. Your focus on entertainment rather than infrastructure is much appreciated by Cindy and the Clowncil.

  7. Its easy to point to something nice and call it a success. The problem is no pol ever points at an empty building and admits its empty because of things like the P & L District, the Sprint Center and a dozen other taxpayer funded fiascos.

  8. Also, since your citizens are eating less food (as a consequences of paying so many taxes) the strain on the sewer system should be reduced.

  9. Hey, she's the Mayor PRO TEM, not the MAYOR. Her strength is severely limited. If you want to ascribe blame, lay it on the nigger-in-charge.

  10. But next we'll be able to ride the streetcar to the new taxpayer-funded downtown hotel!
    What could possible go wrong?

  11. WOW she looks horrible, where is her makeup?? Divorce is not looking good on her at all!

  12. I always thought I'd like to take her out for a romantic dinner followed by a long sensual night of making love, slow, sweet tender, passionate love. But all the ummm's really killed my passion and desire. You can take the nail tech out of the salon but you can't take the salon out of the nail tech.

  13. Obviously Public Speaking was not part of her advanced degee program. Join Toastmasters...ummm good idea.
