IS KRAZY KRIS KOBACH CONNECTED TO PEOPLE WHO FEAR WHITES LOSING THE MAJORITY IN THE UNITED STATES?!?!?!
Kansas City Star Columnist Mary Sanchez plays connects the dots in a recent column while noting some folks in the company of Kansas Secretary of State and E-Verify-fetishist Krazy Kris Kobach.
As much as I don't like Kobach's politics . . . The connection is weak. A few years ago I talked to Kobach and the guy goes out of his way to denounce racism in his anti-immigrant initiatives at almost every turn.
Still, Sanchez provides a peek at the real motivation of more strident reactionaries taking aim at the undocumented.
At the heart of it . . . Isn't it all a debate about the fear of (middle-class) white dudes losing their privilege?
The "rule of law" argument always seems so silly and usually comes from people who don't understand how malleable "the law" really is . . . Example: In Missouri, it used to be legal to kill Mormons up until 1976.
On the bright side, hearing how tough it is to be a middle-class white dude is always good for a laugh . . . Maybe prime-time sitcom mocking is worse than it seems but I kinda doubt it.
Still, if so much angst regarding the backlash against the undocumented really represents concern about protecting the privilege of white dudes . . . This is kind of a bonus for people like TKC - Given that I believe "the more Mexicans, the better" . . . Why?
Because people motivated by hate don't really want an equitable and practical immigration system that works to provide security and meets labor concerns . . . THEY just want to boot people out of the country and don't care about anybody's rights or economic reality. Most of the time their legal efforts are on shaky ground. In the meantime, this nation's immigrant population multiplies and creates exactly the kind of future these folks fear as this nation slowly changes color.

We have a teen population that needs summer jobs as their approximatly 50% unemployed.
Adults need the jobs illegals have who work for less lowering everyone's wages and standard of living plus putting citizens out of work.

Don't make it a race war, it's economic, we cannot afford 30 million illeals, who also use our hospitial emergency rooms for an office visit causing health care cost to go up and cost every citizen more, we have enough problems let's solve those we can.
False. American's wont take the crap jobs that illegals take. When they ship out illegals. This is always a labor shortage. That's why they want permission to hire illegals in Kansas. No citizen is going to take a job picking crops. That just just isn't realistic.
