COURT ORDER IN KANSAS CITY CATHOLIC SEX SCANDAL HOT MESS TAKES AIM AT COMMUNICATION FROM SNAP LEADER!!!

A Kansas City sex abuse case now brings into question First Amendment protections AND the rights of victims of sex abuse.

Check it:

SNAP director may be forced to testify in abuse case

"David Clohessy, head of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, known as SNAP, has been ordered to appear for deposition in a county court case involving allegations of sexual misconduct against Kansas City diocesan priest Fr. Michael Tierney."

Tell me if I'm wrong . . . But I'm pretty sure this means that lawyers for priests accused of sex abuse want to see who Clohessy is communicating with . . .

THAT LIST PROBABLY INCLUDES MEDIA FROM THROUGHOUT KANSAS CITY ALONG WITH TKC AND SEVERAL OTHER LOCAL BLOGGERS!!!

To wit . . .

IT SEEMS LIKE A SHAME THAT IN ORDER TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST SEX ABUSE CHARGES, SO MANY CATHOLIC TOP HONCHOS WOULD PARTICIPATE IN A LEGAL MANEUVER THAT MIGHT KEEP PEOPLE FROM COMING FORWARD OR EVEN REPORTING THIS HOT MESS!!!

File this one under a another reason to lose faith in just about everything . . . And maybe time to get a re-mailer account.

National Catholic Reporter: SNAP director may be forced to testify in abuse case

National Catholic Register: Should Catholic Sex Abuse Documents Be Withheld from Courts?

  1. I am sure you're disappointed that the Diocese and Fr. Tierney are using their rights as American citizens to confront their accusers. I know the ultra libs at the National "Catholic" Reporter are, too. Let's see what SNAP knows. It is the right of the accused (and, sorry again, he's ACCUSED of wrongdoing) to know the case and the actors.

  3. A rookie priest is filling in for the regular priest who is away on sabbatical. As he is giving his first series of confessions, a woman confesses to giving her boyfriend a blow job. The young priest unsure of what pennance to give, peeks outside the booth hoping to see another priest or nun. Just then an alter boy walks by. Thinking maybe he might know, the father asks the boy.." What does father usually give someone for oral sex?" The boy says " A snickers and a coke".

  4. I would guess they want to know who is talking to SNAP more then they want to know who SNAP is talking too. There are people who work for the bishop who are digusted with with the criminal conspiracy and want to see justice done, so they leak info to SNAP.

The bishop wants the leakers punished just like Nixon did.

  5. Maybe Clohessy will be able to talk about all the law firms his SNAP group represents. They are simply legal pimps who don't give a shit about victims.

What's this thing doing in court. The Star already convicted them!

  8. Well, tony-parkville, the Star certainly convicted Msgr. O'Brien of causing the suicide of one young man before the ink had a chance to dry on the lawsuit.
