There's a lot of ground to cover on this Monday morning other than the played-out debt ceiling posturing for cable TV news viewing public . . . But during these dark overnight hours let's ease into the work week. ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Mr Hodges on the credit card flap. If its designed to make the P&L district safer for patrons its a great idea. I guess its such a big deal to Tony because all the illegals can't get credit cards either so they are stuck hanging around his neighborhood. People who just want to hang around and play thug for their friends should just go back to the hood and keep playing target practice with each other.

While city hall reorganizes its economic development team, the violence continues throughout the city, including murders in mid-town and now gunfire in Mill Creek Park. If you were relocating or opening a business, would you be more interested in tax breaks or in an environment that was safe for yourself, employee, and customers?

ReplyDeleteMaybe the Mounted Unit could help?? What a total waste of Money. Paying for horses that they don't even use, except for ceremonial duties. Station them at the plaza and p and L every weekend. OR, if they are really such a great deal, station them in the high crime areas.

ReplyDelete10:38 and 1:10pm--Though I can't say Mounted Patrol would be the ideal unit for me if I was a cop, you need to know that I routinely see them patrolling KC's Eastside. Additionally, most of their funding comes from private contribution.
