The Saga of Southwest Struggle after "rightsizing" seems to be the defining storyline of the Kansas City, Missouri School District.
Recently, they have found suspects in the high profile arson cases that have Midtown Neighbors fuming mad.
Bringing the ongoing arson and repeated false alarm story to a conclusion is a step in the right direction but how the district deals with students in this situation might determine future success.

Covington Promises Improvement at Troubled Southwest High
ABSOLUTELY INAPPROPRIATE PHOTOGRAPH!
ReplyDeleteIs that the devil?
ReplyDeletewhy has noone in the media asked the good dr covington if these students were westport high students tranfered to SW under his rightsizing plan?
ReplyDeletenot appropriate ASSHOLE
ReplyDeleteYeah, kinda oversold the whole thing with the WTC.
ReplyDeleteThere are jillions of pics of busted buildings etc.
The WTC, if it is a cliche, is still a bleeding cliche in the American conciousness.
Unless teh perps are the recent Islamic Somali immigrants who now reside in the city, the pic is outta line.
Tony.....SERIOUSLY....that 911 photo is your lowest moment. Never again please. AND you're always asking for apologies, HOW ABOUT ONE FROM YOU IN THIS CASE.
ReplyDeleteNot funny but still appropriate. Is that possible?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, not appropriate at all with the photo. Your biggest fan.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, an inappropriate use of a photo for shock value. T loses cred.
ReplyDeleteRemove the picture. Poor taste.
ReplyDeletethey were freakin' FIRES IN a building and have nothing even remotely in common with the WTC attacks. stupid and insensitive choice.
ReplyDeleteof course, maybe that's because you're stupid and insensitive and can't write a thing without your tipsters or reviewing content from other sites.
If these "children" are found guilty, put them in jail for an extended period of time and do not let them back into the KCMSD schools.
ReplyDeleteTony, if you have any moral compass at all, you will remove the photo of the WTC from this post. It is stomach-churningly inappropriate and warrants an apology on your behalf. Please don't allow us to believe you are as ignorant and insensitive as those you criticize on this blog every day.
ReplyDeleteTo re-state what everyone else has said, very inappropriate photo. You are an ass for thinking it is somehow clever.
ReplyDeleteHey they weren't arsonists they were "Scholars" experimenting with fire for academic effect. Keep drinking the kool-aid.
ReplyDeleteTony, go fuck yourself.
ReplyDeleteClassless use of the photo of a tragedy.
ReplyDeleteMy God Tony! What is wrong with you?! That "debris" falling from the World Trade Center, contains pieces of innocent human beings!
ReplyDeleteThis remains the heartache of America(as it should), and for you to use that photo, to talk about some THUGS in the KC school District, is beyond the pale!
Please do the right thing FOR Once, and take down your sick attempt at shock value!
Tony
ReplyDeleteI agree with Darla even tough I am a Sw grad it is not the tragedy that happened with WTC.
Southwest isnt in or even near Midtown. It's between Brookside and Waldo.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Darla and the others, Tony. You should be ashamed of that disgusting analogy. We're waiting for your apology.
ReplyDeletePlease don't hold your breath.
ReplyDeleteSo much for being nice, eh T?
ReplyDeleteI would call you a string of names now, but that would be a waste.
The illustration is in poor taste but so are the shots of women in most accounts. that's what we expect from Tee.
ReplyDeleteTony, go fuck yourself, you stupid greasy pig! A fucking PUSSY like YOU using a pic like that for one of your inconsequential stories is worth you getting the shit kicked out of you.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a piece of shit Tony.
ReplyDeleteSo do we even care about Southwest?
ReplyDeleteTony, please remove the picture. Please.
ReplyDeleteTony got exactly what he wants;
ReplyDeletecomments. Doesn't care if they are good or negative. He thrives on being an asshole and being called out for it.
Totally tasteless. You have zero credibility.
ReplyDeleteTony, since you obviously are severely, mentally impaired, I thought I'd do you the favor of informing you that over 3,000 innocent Americans died in that above photograph due to the hateful acts of radical Muslim terrorists... a photograph you have grossly misused. Evidently you didn't know that. If you'd crawl out from underneath your liberal hellhole rock, you might have learned about the importance and seriousness of the date: September 11, 2001... and not try to equate it to an arson in KC.
ReplyDeleteFor every person that died, many more friends, family, and friends of friends still grieve their memories and senseless loss of the blessing of their lives. Your callousness and editorial carelessness spits in the face of their suffering. You'd probably realize that if you weren't such a selfish attention whore that's getting his jollies off all the comments here. Have a good ole time sucking on this one, too.
No anonymity for me. I'm quite proud to stand up to people like you.
This is just beyond words, Tony.
ReplyDeleteI do normally enjoy your debates with Darla Jaye every week (even if I pretty much disagree with you most of the time), but the posting of that photo just detests many of us.
It is very extremely disingenuous to those who were MURDERED almost 10 years ago.
9/11 is not to be taken as a joke or to make a point completely unrelated to those events.
One cannot compare the violence occurring at Southwest High School to the brutal and heartless terrorism that took place 10 years ago!
Why don't any of you help with KC Schools instead of just complaining about pictures of historic events?
ReplyDeleteIsn't the future more important than the past?
Clever is not always smart or the right thing... do the right thing not what's right. If you know the difference.
