Chick-fil-A was recently booted off the campus of Indiana University South Bend. The fight against the chicken place with Evangelical Christian roots started with a group of students who came together in opposition of the franchise's support of organizations like Focus on the Family and the Ruth Institute.
KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS REPORT THAT THE LGBT STUDENT FIGHT AGAINST CHICK-FIL-A IS COMING SOON TO THE UMKC CAMPUS!!! STUDENTS ARE ALREADY WORKING TO GET THE CHICKEN PLACE OUT OF THE FOOD COURT!!!
Check the AWESOME TKC TIPSTER detail . . .
"There is more and more of buzz out there to boycott Chick-Fil-A restaurants because of their support for anti-gay marriage groups. We've all known the company is owned by a very Christian guy who deliberately loses tons of business by closing all their stores on Sunday, and that's his choice . . . But when UMKC built their brand new Student Center they chose Chick-Fil-A as the anchor restaurant in the food court. At some point UMKC is going to have to defend their position of choosing a restaurant that is deliberately in support of anti-gay groups."
Obviously, a great student debate over chicken sandwiches makes me reminisce about my college days on the campus mostly spent calling people racist and talking endlessly about Pulp Fiction & semiotics . . . I'm sure this battle could be an interesting and delicious return to student activism.
Curves supports anti abortion canidates, Domino's give millions to the Catholic church, Chick-fil-a is nothing new, tread softly with whom you do business.
ReplyDeleteTony wont eat there, only meat goes in his mouth.
ReplyDeleteSo much for tolerance and diversity of opinion, I suppose. The left really can't stand any opinions that aren't their own.
ReplyDeleteThe left also can't accept the fact that Christianity (and many other folks as well) realize that the homosexual lifestyle is wrong. So is the killing of innocent unborn children for the convenience of their mothers and fathers.
If there was a Chinese-owned company, would they kick them out because China forces abortions? Probably not.

ReplyDeleteSo much for tolerance and diversity of opinion, I suppose.
Exactly. I love the way Christians tell me, and the rest of the world what is and isn't the right lifestyle.
Tolerance from idiots like you = Christian hypocricity.
LGBT peeps are only interested in pressing for acceptance for their lifestyle choice.
ReplyDeleteWho's being tolerant now?
Leave the chicken alone.
Who even cares. No one is forced to attend UMKC and no one is forced to eat at this establishment. Don't like UMKC and its policies? Go to school elsewhere, hippie.

And now we hear from the Phelps trailer park clan.
Tony only eats cockmeat sandwiches.
ReplyDelete1:24 - Nice try with equating all those who disagree with you in the most hateful light possible.
ReplyDeleteCarpet munching pedophile lesbo freak. Are you the butch or the bitch? Dike.
1/28/11 1:52 PM
ReplyDeleteThats so Christian of you. What do you care what I am? The person telling me my lifestyle is wrong would be the most hateful of all. Just like the Phelps clan.
1/28/11 1:52 PM
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for a pedophile, go see your local Priest.
12:42: How about letting people decide for themselves what lifestyles are and are not "wrong?" Remember just a couple of thousand years ago you would have been lion food. And, as for abortion, unless you personally are ready to support the unborn financially, butt out. You may be a candidate for retroactive abortion.
ReplyDeleteAnd 1:52: Your ignorance is showing. It's "dyke," not "dike," dick.
... or 1:52PM. You could use some religion.
ReplyDeleteThat whole "My God can kick your God's ass" is really stupid.
ReplyDeleteFolks who think they have a special relationship with God, that requires, or permits them to enforce their ideas, of what their god wants, are delusional.
Unless you actually have Jesus' cell phone number, and can hand me the phone, and he tells me to stop drinking, cut down on salt, then I am gonna keep eating pretzels with my canned beer and mind my own business.
just sayin
Chuck you always make me :)
ReplyDeleteYeah Chuck, so why don't the DYKES and FAGGOTS mind their own business? Why do they have to shove their "rights" in everyone's face?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to freaks to marry eeach other, go ahead!
But STAY out of my chicken sandwich!
Only tolerant of those who agree with you? That's not very tolerant....
1/28/11 3:08 PM
ReplyDeleteI do mind my own business. I also happen to like Chick-Fil-A. I suppose the fact that I eat there makes me as tolerant of the owners beliefs as I could possibly be. I don't believe in abortion. Thats why I'm, (a mild mannered gay guy) raising children who aren't mine. (They don't know that-they think I owe them the world, as they should) But you lump me in with all lesbo's & gays and call all of us pedophiles. Eye for an eye, maybe? I really don't understand your logic.
Christians are tolerant. But tolerance doesn't mean approval.
ReplyDelete3:08
ReplyDeleteOk.
If you think they are in your face, then maybe there is substance, but for whatever reason, that whole gay marraige etc. stuff just doesn't resonate as a threat to me, so I don't pay much attention to it.
I do agree with our friend Chris Hitchens (Not long now, dying of cancer, gonna miss that guy.) that religion has divided and wrecked the civilized world for 2 millenia.
I don't think fanatics of ANY religion, who force opinions and behaviour on others is a good thing.
JMO. (:
Tolerance doesn't mean approval means my partner and myself may raise these babies abandoned by their drug addicted parents, ( = unwanted drug addicted babies) void of benifits granted any other straight couple. Yes, I believe that logic falls under, Thou shalt not judge . . .or, something.
ReplyDeleteChristianity is a strange and mysterious religion at best. I suppose God fearing tolerant Christian people who would hurl lesbo/gay bashing insults inbetween prayers are just better suited to raise children-with the benifits marriage?
The scriptural justification for gay-bashing comes from the old testament.
ReplyDeleteWe have a new testament & a new commandment.
Free countries don't write special laws discriminating against sub-groups.
3:31: Who's asking for your approval? If anything, with all the budget problems at the local, state, and national level, you'd better lay low or risk losing your tax exempt status, which a lot of non-Christians don't approve of.
ReplyDeleteI had some Chick-Fil-A the other day. After this news, I may have it again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteByron: I do not believe in gay bashing.
ReplyDeleteFor New Testament reference against homosexual activity, please turn to Romans 1:26-27.
4:51: Even if the Bible can be construed to be against homosexuality, so what? This is not Iran, and we're not ruled by a religious sect.
ReplyDelete1/28/11 4:57 PM
ReplyDeleteExactly. Seperation of church and state should be the standard governing rule. However, radical Christian extremists will site 'In God We Trust' as the absolute law of the land.
If I was a student there, I would welcome the gay's boycott. That way I could sit and eat and not have to look at queers.
ReplyDeleteSo teh gheys are trying to choke the chicken, except the canyon yodelers who won't go near a chicken, or a cock to be more exact.
ReplyDeleteCanyon yodelers? I prefer pussy diving hooter hoes.
ReplyDeleteWith our country in economic turmoil and everyone has a "special interest", not happy about your neighbor and the way he/she cuts the yard start a protest!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just have little sympathy for yet another protest.
A thought just came to me, I'm upset Chik fil A closes on Sundays and let's ALL their employees off and I can't have a chicken sandwich. Maybe I'll start a protest..........
Anon 4:51 PM - Sorry, I stand corrected. I was not aware of any such passages in the new testament.
ReplyDeleteAnon 5:17 PM - "If I was a student ..."
If you were a student there, you would have said 'If I WERE a student there.'
Hatred is stupid!
Byron said, "Hatred is stupid."
ReplyDeleteAnd so are you Byron. BTW shoudn't you be fucking your underage Mexican daughter?
Hmm. After seeing how all the Chik Fil A haters whine and whine and whine, I'm going to eat there just to support the business because I'm sick of you retards trying to force your damn agenda on me. It's a restaurant. Don't eat there. That should be the end of it, but you have these fringe crybaby groups that are intolerant of anything they don't bless. So thanks for turning me on to Chick Fil A.
