Okay, I want to make sure that I acknowledge Kwanzaa on TKC without the lame joke about not knowing what it means.
Like all other holiday celebrations, Kwanzaa is not that hard to understand or mock.
And while the holiday hosts different days celebrating a variety of principles. I think I'd like to start this first day of Kwanzaa by celebrating the love of Council Lady Sharon Sanders Brooks and Linwood Tauheed, a member of Kansas City's Black Political Elite . . . Whenever it serves their purposes they say they aren't going out but the (love) connection is there (like it or not) and it's one of many Kansas City Kwanzaa Miracles!!!
Actually, it's kinda nice that the two have allegedly used their "love" to further the career of Tauheed now that he's a big time member of Mayor Funky's "New Tools" pipe-dream payout program . . . Or at least that's what so many on the Eastside are saying.
So celebrate Kwanzaa any way you like . . . TKC doesn't suggest taking your dangerous online hookups to Black Planet instead of Craigslist for a few days . . . It's probably more productive to maybe just read a book.
