TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! MAYOR FUNKY PUTS HIS WIFE'S INTERESTS BEFORE KANSAS CITY AND HELPS A COUNCIL MEMBER'S LOVE CONNECTION!!!

Today, The Star has a really great report about all of the fighting among Kansas City Council People after the Volunteer (Anti-Squitiro) Ordinance was put on hold for a week.

But according to an AWESOME TKC TIPSTER AT CITY HALL there's more to the story.

Apparently, the Council was pretty miffed at Sharon Sanders Brooks because of her decision to back down from the Volunteer Ordinance which she initially sponsored. Council members tried to lobby her and Brooks responded in typical crybaby fashion:

As the meeting continued around them, Riley and Marcason, the measure’s prime author, individually went to the seat of Brooks, one of the nine original sponsors. They said they wanted Brooks to reconsider her vote. Marcason said she told Brooks, “You want me to support your projects,” in reference to council members often swapping important votes with their colleagues.

However, Brooks took it differently. As Marcason left Brooks’ desk, Brooks spoke out loudly: “Don’t you threaten me. Don’t you ever do that.” Brooks said later that she took Marcason’s comment to mean that Marcason would not support her projects for the central city. Marcason said later that she “definitely” was not making such a threat.

But direct confrontation with Brooks is never a good idea . . . Instead Kansas City's Mayor Funky had the right tactic in a rare display of cunning.

MAYOR FUNKY UNDERSTANDS THAT THE BEST WAY TO INFLUENCE COUNCIL MEMBER SHARON SANDERS BROOKS IS TO BE NICE TO HER BOYFRIEND LINWOOD TAUHEED!!!

It turns out that whenever Mayor Funky finds a place for Tauheed, Sanders-Brooks suddenly seems a lot less willing to cooperate with the rest of the City Council and take orders from Mayor Funky instead. The cozy relationship goes all the way back to the Mayor's inauguration when lovers Sanders-Brooks and Tauheed showed up together looking sessy.

During the Semler debate, Sanders-Brooks was shy about supporting the rest of the Council and several members of her own district . . . This might have been because her boyfriend Tauheed had a nice (albeit temporary) high profile gig as the vice chairman of Mayor Funky's Economic Development Task Force.

But after awhile there wasn't a place for Tauheed at City Hall and that's when the Mayor started to lose favor with Sanders-Brooks.

So . . . To get back in the good graces of Sanders-Brooks and to save his wife from being kicked out of City Hall like a hobo (at least for a week) Mayor Funky was seemingly forced to keep the lady's boyfriend in another high profile position.

SO, EARLIER THIS WEEK LINWOOD TAUHEED'S CHOICE PLACEMENT IN THE MAYOR'S "NEW TOOLS" ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM JUST MIGHT HAVE SWAYED SANDERS-BROOKS TO GO BACK TO SUPPORTING MAYOR FUNKY!!!

As a ranking member of Kansas City's Black United Front Tauheed had already had secured a sweet prime spot at this economic trough but getting pushed to the front of this welfare line seemingly made Sanders-Brooks okay with the use of racial slurs in the Mayor's office despite a number of loud criticisms and complaints from her constituents.

And who can blame her? If the Mayor is going to sell Kansas City down the river for the sake of his wife . . . We should all get to look out for the person we're sleeping with, right? I've never been in charge of a public subsidy but if I was you can rest assured that blonde, big booty white women would be the first to benefit!!!

SADLY, THIS COZY THREE WAY LOVE TRIANGLE BETWEEN MAYOR FUNKY, COUNCILMAN SHARON SANDERS-BROOKS AND LINWOOD TAUHEED DOESN'T BENEFIT KANSAS CITY'S BOTTOM LINE!!!

The Mayor's New Tools throwaway program is simply a ploy to benefit the Mayor's standing in the Black Community and cater to the same'old political clubs that run KC. Don't believe me, just read the following passage . . .

Ajamu Webster is in charge of this new task force. Webster has his own construction and engineering firm, is president of the KC chapter of Black United Front and is part of the KC Parks Board of Commissioners.

Again, I'm all for a feeding frenzy but let's take a look at record of economic development projects on the Eastside that were mostly motivated by political back scratching:

18th & Vine - Basically Abandoned

Citadel Plaza - Pretty much a toxic waste dump

A pricey mall project on Linwood - Pretty much still a shooting gallery.

Other Mayor's before Funky have had the idea of garnering votes with expensive giveaways at the Taxpayers expense but once again this clueless and naive Administration thinks they're reinventing the wheel and doing everyone a favor by practicing expensive, ill-conceived, old political tactics with an exceptional amount of arrogance. Regardless . . .

KANSAS CITY WON'T BENEFIT FROM MAYOR FUNKY'S "NEW TOOLS" PROGRAM WHICH IS SIMPLY A WAY FOR HIM TO MAKE DE FACTO POLITICAL PAYOFFS ON THE EASTSIDE!!!

It's important that white people (the vast majority of TKC readers) understand these facts because they're the same kind political shenanigans that voters expected from Alvin Brooks . . . What makes this worse is that MILLIONS WORTH OF TAX DOLLARS ARE BASICALLY BEING USED TO KEEP GLORIA SQITIRO AND HER RACIAL SLURS IN OFFICE!!!
