His "retirement" was abrupt and coincided with the airport committee putting the kibosh on moving forward given Aviation dept. leadership at the time . . .
However, it's important to remember that it takes a mere 12 months for City Hall employees to return as consultants. Therefore, insiders warn that VanLoh's return is not up for negotiation.
Here's the word:

ReplyDeleteNice plan Kansas City! All of these studies are mostly self perpetuating nonsense that tell people exactly what they want to hear. More welfare for the consultants I guess. I can't blame anybody for wanting to jump aboard that band wagon.

Campaigning to get in about caring about the people, yet digging that hole a little deeper into the depths of debt and despair. Shame on you all. Shame!

Fuck, given that you have to be at the airport 2 1/2 hours early just to have your nut sack fondled by TSA maybe we could just drive to Omaha and use theirs....assuming it wasn't engineered by coons.

ReplyDeleteIf you don't travel by air and live in K.C. you should be the biggest promoter of a new terminal. The citizens will benefit from the taxes that the construction workers and materials bring into the general fund.
If you do travel the cost increase is less than $5.00
