TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY SILLY SEASON CAMPAIGN CIVILITY PLEDGE POSTSCRIPT: NO JOY FOR JAY HODGES AT THE BIG BISCUIT!!!

Here's is the last word about a dust-up betwixt Kansas City 2nd District At-Large challengers . . .

THE KANSAS CITY FAIR CAMPAIGN PLEDGE FELL APART AS JAY HODGES WAS STOOD UP AT THE BIG BISCUIT AMID CIVILITY PLEDGE TALKS!!!

Teresa Loar might have done the smart thing in taking a pass on this meal but here's the aftermath from Mr. Hodges in an e-mail that was sent out to everybody:

Re: Fair Campaign Pledge

This morning I went to the Big Biscuit as I said I would. I was looking forward to meeting with you to agree to a Campaign Fairness Pledge that would foster open, fair and honest campaigning. I am sorry that you did not want to work with me to reach an agreement that would allow the voters to make a fully informed decision when they go to the polls.

My offer to meet with you remains open. Should you decide to work with me to agree to a campaign that will be honest and informative, you will find me eager to join you at the table.

I look forward to hearing for you.

As usual, our TKC blog community covered this debate better than anybody else . . .

Previously . . . Teresa Loar enjoyed overwhelming applause and support when she introduced the fair campaign pledge

Hodges Hit Back With Revisions

Here's a take on this story from The Pitch

And then it all went downhill over the deets of the agreement . . .

Of course our blog community believes that civility is overrated and we'd much rather discuss more important issues that impact the entire city. Sadly, as we move closer to the primary . . . That's not happening yet.

  1. KC politics is rough when somebody would turn down an invitation to the big biscuit. That place is delicious.

  2. What the hell is your obsession with these two. Their both idiots.

  3. Why are all three links to a Tony's Kansas City post. That's cheating.

  4. The pitch's article on this sucked.

    Here it is too: http://www.pitch.com/FastPitch/archives/2015/03/11/jay-hodges-and-teresa-loars-fair-campaign-pledge-drags-baton-rouge-mayor-into-the-mud

  5. Tony's under the delusion that merely throwing a lot of links to a site will magically bring massive authority, high rankings, and tons of search traffic 6:00.

    That’s simply not the case.

  6. Kudos on covering an important issue no one really gives a flying fuck about. Thumbs up! Excellent! Gold star!

This is the best blog community in the world for SNOCA.

  7. Get your lazy arse in gear and do some journalism. Dump this stupid idiotic story already.

  10. Both bad choices. But Teresa may be the lessor of both evils.

  11. One of Sly's interns said one of the biggest things he's done there is helping Jay run the Blue Ribbon Police Commission, and The Commission on the Airport.

I can understand now why Jay is so worried and concerned about civility. Since he'll get his ass royally pounded on just these two issues.

  12. There's already negotiations with Italy but no promise not to invade Poland

  13. Let the pounding begin.

    Arrrrrgh!!!!!!

  14. why has the star stopped reporting?

  15. They need to shift Dianne Stafford and Cindy Hoedel over to the general reporting desk to handle the increased work load with the buy out offers underway.

  16. Someone ought to report whatever dirt Teresa and Jay have. It feels like Teresa is hiding something she doesn't want out. Get it over with and let the voters decide.

    ReplyDelete
  17. What does Jay know about either an airport or police work?
Oh, that's right. He's running for the KCMO city council.
    Never mind!

    ReplyDelete
  18. You don't have to know anything about an airport or police work if you're a lawyer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Without the rules and regulations of an airport you don't have a legitimate state.

Are you sure about your intel? Satellites are tracking troop movement on the Italy/Slovania border near Nova Gorica.

Supergirl Cindy will need to garner all of her brain power. Shopping trip to Milan is now off, but that's okay. Our heroine is a Sears girl anyway.
