Remember that just a few days ago THE AWESOME TKC BLOG COMMUNITY BROKE NEWS OF NORTHEAST TOY TRAIN PUSHBACK AMONG INDIAN MOUND NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS . . . Like it or not, the report got people talking and worried top level streetcar developers . . .
A rather AWESOME KC INSIDER got back to us and said . . .

Northeast Alliance Together (NEAT) writes a nice letter in support of a streetcar study on Independence Ave.
Columbus Park Community Council endorses the Independence Ave. streetcar study as well
The Northeast Community Center Board Of Directors signs up for the Independence Ave. study too.
Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association affirms the streetcar study . . . Notice the really nice letterhead AND the fact the same lady is also in charge of NEAT. Still impressive.
And finally, Pendleton Heights approves the streetcar study on Independence Ave. in between movie night.
So, what have we learned?
Well . . . Rather than burying or ignoring dissenting opinion . . . THE AWESOME TKC BLOG COMMUNITY is dedicated to an OPEN discussion that's not quite "adult" but still more fun than watching other Kansas City windbags endlessly tout their own viewpoint and then censor everybody else while attempting to stifle community discourse.
Sure, we have our own opinions and then INVITE you d-bags to VEHEMENTLY disagree in a manner that more accurately represents the tenor of UNCENSORED discourse in Kansas City Proper or the reptilian brain . . . Pick'em.
Either way . . . Cowtown power brokers and a lot of other people are CLEARLY watching this blog in order to attain a real glimpse of Kansas City life and the facts of our community conversation are much more interesting than mindless cheerleading, boosterism and propaganda published and broadcast in the mainstream media and among other streetcar sycophants.

Hey, how about this, I mean shit, lets be reasonable. We will take every penny of profit from the P&L divert it from the city coffers and use it, all of it. EVERY SINGLE PENNY OF THE PROFIT FROM THE P&L, and use it for the Toy Train.

NEAT is another do-nothing Northeast organization designed to help the same self serving local bottom feeders legitimately pilfer money. At the top of the list is Leslie Caplain, who also lives off of Newhouse and other money pilfering scams. Of course she supports a scammy study for something that will never be built, because she will somehow profit from it. Same with Bobbie Baker and her northeast chamber of "non-commerce", and don't forget permanent community money parasite, Mattie Rhodes. All the same small time players trying to make some money off of throw away money that could be better spent elsewhere.
