imagine that, you spend years dedicating your time to bettering the neighborhood in active, positive ways, and the people like it and respond positively back....maybe Royster is on to something with his campaign to ACTUALLY DO THINGS FOR THE NEIGHBORHOODS!!

You surprise me Tony...you hate whites for going along with other whites just because they are white...nearly all the people who vote for Rizzo each year do so SOLELY because of his name. He truly has done NOTHING and I challenge you to prove otherwise. ReplyDeleteRoyster lives in the heart of Northeast's Scarritt Renaissance, Rizzo lives on the far end of Columbus Park, almost in the City Market.
ReplyDeleteRoyster seems more like a family man and Rizzo seems more like an overprivellage, ambitious youth from a political family.
Northeast is a heavily unionized neighborhood, but my neighbors, family, and friends are all either voting for or against Royster. I think most people consider Rizzo to be second-string; only worth a vote if Royster rubs them the wrong way.
Rizzo and Royster are both nice guys, respectable Democrats, and they both attend neighborhood meetings, (I've seen them there, but Royster typically gets up and takls, Rizzo is usually just present.) but Royster should win this pretty easily.
The only thing the Rizzo family has done for Northeast is steal from it. Indeed, the only people that vote for them are either (A) paid to do so, (B) are ahem..."family," or (C) dead. Yep. Dead. I was paid to work for JJ's campaign in 2006, and most of those absentee votes that they got were from people who had passed on. That, or they threw away their ballot if they voted for Burnett.

Yep, I'm ashamed that I used to be "on his side," but the money was good, and there were all sorts of empty promises. Since then, I've woken up and realized that everyone in the Rizzo family is a user. They don't have any real friends.
