"Rice, a fourth-year wide receiver who was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Chiefs, owes millions of dollars in settlements and legal fees as a result of a six-car crash he caused on Easter morning in 2024.

"Rice filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the Federal Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Texas. Court documents revealed Rice claims just over $675,000 in assets, while he owes 20 creditors more than $3.2 million."
