Actually . . . He's probably right here and his defense seems better than most of the strategy from the courthouse . . . Check-it: 

"In 2015, a federal appeals court overturned several of Blagojevich’s convictions, ruling that exchanging one government appointment for another was a form of political bargaining, not criminal bribery. (Donald Trump, on whose show “Celebrity Apprentice” Blagojevich once appeared, commuted Blagojevich’s sentence in 2020 and granted him a full pardon in 2025.) Now LeVota is invoking that appeals court decision in an attempt to get most of the federal charges against him thrown out."
